I believe that what was written in the linked articles is mostly malicious fiction with just enough truth thrown in to make it seem believable. I can't make myself believe that Jon and Kate are that cruel and evil, especially to their own family, and then continue to watch the show. Yes, they should donate the freebies to others in need, and Kate has admitted that she doesn't. Jodie should be paid for her time on the show, and maybe she is. The article could well be wrong. It seems to me that it would be up to the network to strike a deal with Jodi and not Kate. Jon quit his job? Doesn't he voice-over at the beginning of each episode that he works in IT but is able to make his own hours? As I said, I just can't believe everything written in the articles.

He works for Bob, Beth's husband. But we don't know what he does, or how/why he has such flexible hours.

Preschool teachers and daycare teachers would LOVE a ratio of less than 6 to 1. In Illinois, the ratio for 4 year olds is 10 to 1. That's pretty average nationwide. Two year olds - the ratio is 8 to 1. Also as far as Jon working for Bob Carson . . . in recent episodes Jon has stated that he's "started his own business" and no mention of working for Bob has been made since last fall. It's widely believed that Jon's "business" is scheduling the public speaking engagements he and Kate have been doing all over the country the past year or so. They are now starting to charge $15 a ticket and they also pass the offering plate for "love offerings." They have bookings into Spring 2009 already.

While I can believe that Kate no longer wants Jodi on the show because Jodi makes Kate look bad, it makes no sense to me why Kate would have any say-so at all whether or not Jodi was/is paid for appearing on the show.

You have to remember: 1.All these accusations are one woman's point of view- not necessarily the "truth" 2. Where's the proof that that blog was actually even written by Jodi or her sister?? 3.1 and 2 don't really matter because slander sticks, however untrue it may be. Jon and Kate are on their way to a very quick decent from public adulation to ridicule.

And yes, we have met with Julie in person, face-to-face, and have verified to our complete satisfaction that she is indeed Aunt Jodi's sister." Thanks
