So - in addition to the $12M that she left her dog, Trouble, she also wrote a letter saying she wanted to leave the whole estate ($5B to $8B) to help dogs. At
one point she has written that she also wanted to help indigent people, but she took that out in 2003 or so.

Apparently a judge is basically not following her will, and is doing things like awarding $6M each to two of her grandchildren that she explictly wrote out of her will? I didn't know judges could randomly assign assets to people against the will of the dead, but I guess they can.
