I thought that the recap might have been a little bit long this time

I think you are right, and I'll try to make the next one shorter. I don't think the recapped scenes were as short as they usually are.

Tracy had a good confessonal about "having a mind of her own" - I thought it might indicate that Tracy betrays Dave at some point in the game, which leads to him being voted out

That's a very good point. Dave has been trying to make Tracy vote a certain way, but she hasn't been letting him do it. This will definitely play a role in the future.

About the twist: I really liked the idea, but there's two things that I thought right away: I thought that maybe there should have been 1 person from both tribes who was going to be the "most trusted," and since Misty was picked as the one person, it might have been better for her to actually divide the tribes herself like Scout did in Vanuatu rather than picking buffs randomly. This way it would be a true test of how much she could be trusted. Would she purposely make a really strong tribe for herself and screw over a bunch of people by putting them on a weak tribe?, etc...

I liked this twist because it was something that hadn't really been done before. It combined both elements of a random shuffle and a pick'em. On the show, there's always mention about "fate in my own hands" or some variation of that, and I took that into literal meaning. Misty was deciding everyone's fate with her own hands. Also, I liked the new dynamics of both tribes so I was very happy with the twist. I'm glad you were too.

Yes, he does. There is definitely a gender gap, and he is also the strongest on the tribe, which could either help him or hurt him depending on how the rest of the tribe sees it.

I'm a little surprised that you got rid of both James and Cao Boi so early though, I would have maybe liked to see JAmes stick around longer for entertainment and because I thought he was one of the characters that you wrote for the best

It was a little hard to get rid of James, because I do like him as a character and he was fun to write for. There is a lot that is going to happen once the merge comes, and a lot of strategy will take place. I didn't really see James as a part of that, so I wrote him out earlier rather than later. Although he will be missed, I think the ultimate outcome will tie everything together and make a little more sense. As far as future episodes go, some things may seem hazy or unclear at first, but explanation and reasoning will follow along with the consequences of whatever happens. There is still one episode to go before the tribes merge, and not to get you too anxious, I think post-merge is better than pre-merge. There will be a lot of action taking place and a lot of strategizing going on, and I think this type of entertainment will help make up for the loss of a few good characters.

Very interesting Episode 6 predictions. It's fun to see what readers think will happen next.

This is hard, because I feel like a lot of these have really similar edits but their CPs, MORs, and UTRs are just in a slightly different order.

By looking at the chart, I too think it would be hard to choose a clear winner based on ratings alone. Within the next several episodes, I think the list will be narrowed a little more. Though, I do like having several contenders. It keeps that level of uncertainty that I like.

5. Ashley (I think she's good content and storywise, but Edgically, she has a bit much so far)

Looking back at the episodes, all of her ratings make sense, but I actually didn't intend for her to have all CP's to begin with. I think you know the feeling when you include someone a little more than you had originally planned to, and it changes the overall edit of the person.

Episode 6 Update:

I'm in the process of writing the second half of the episode. I realized today that I would be out all afternoon and late into the evening tomorrow, which I had originally planned to use the time for finishing the episode. I'll be working hard on it tonight and tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to have it 100% finished by around noon tomorrow. If I am unable to post it tomorrow night (very late if I do get the chance), I'll be posting it on Wednesday.
