I haven't been excited about Tennis since Jimmy/John/Bjorn/Chris/Martina retired. Nothing has come close to that era.

For the record, that nobody, Tamarine, has inspired millions of Asians to take up the game. She is a great ambassador to the sport.

Tanasugarn is holding her own. 7 break chances, converting one. 30-30, 5-4 Set one.

Hey, Kitty! Surprised to see ya here!
DAMN! She didn't convert enough of them when she had them, though. There goes the first set. Elena is KILLIN' Nadia! |

Tanasugarn is melting in the 2nd set. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

Ha-ha... it's not done yet - for EITHER of 'em!! Elena led Nadia 6-1, 5-1... and now it's 5-5 in the 2nd!!
Tama T BLEW a chance there, with double break point to draw even at 3-3; instead, it's 4-2. ETA: Well, you gave it the old college try, TT. Way, way too many missed opportunities, though. Elena LOSES the 2nd set, 7-6(6)!!

Roger beats Mario 6-1 7-5 6-3. The first game of the third set (Ancic held) took one minute less than the entire first set, which was 20 minutes. Roger lost a
grand total of 10 points on his serve throughout the entire match.

I want Safin or Nadal to win.
I don't give a damn about the women. |

I want to see players actually earn points via smart play during long rallys, not aces. Safin - Fed on Friday. I hope that the former gives him a tough match. Nadal's now up two sets on Murray. |

OMG - did you see Nadal after that overhead? From behind he so looked like he is whacking instead of fist pumping.

I do agree that there are some slow points in a match where it's a serving battle. However, there were a lot of decent rallies. Earlier this year, there
was a Federer/Karlovic match on clay. Now that was boring. I don't mind the big servers so long as they have the rest of the game to back it up.
Nadal beats Murray 6-3 6-2 6-4, losing only 10 points on serve as well. |

SAFIN FTW! If not, I'd rather have Fed than Nadal.
