I can't see anyone picking Matt on purpose.

I am pretty sure there was a really quick shot of Jen walking over to be on Christina's team. Can't imagine that Petrozza would actually pick Matt on
purpose, but I guess Jen is a bitter little bitch and therefore he not only doesn't want to have her on his team, but wants to put her on a team with
people she hates so she will screw them up. But still...picking Matt???

The London NY was where I went for dinner back in December. I'm pretty sure they were in the main room though (I was in the semi-private dinning room).
Once they were going to NY I figured they'd go there.

Personally, I'd take Matt over Jen any day of the week. I said it earlier -- that bitch is going to submarine whichever team she ends up on.

By the way, talk about spoiler city. Parading those two around NYC as the final two? Were the final two pretty much spoiled? (I know about the betting spoiler,
and I didn't read it, but that supposedly gives away just the winner) I know they could easily have everyone who was at the restaurant that night sign some
sort of confidentiality agreement, which would still be tough to enforce, but you can't exactly do that in Times Square

It was semi-good too.
Nah, it was actually all kinds of awesome. That souffle was stunning. |

Does likability factor AT ALL in this show? Do you think that a single viewer would fail to tune in next season or a single diner would fail to patronize the restaurant because the winning chef was arrogant? GORDON RAMSEY IS THE HOST. The implication is that it is alright - nay, even EXPECTED - for a chef to be arrogant! He's got to pick the most deserving chef. Personality is not a factor... Beyond that, Christina and Petrozza are both extremely likeable compared to just about everybody who went before them. It's not as if it would be the near-universally-despised JEN winning... |

I wonder if Gordon has second thoughts about not choosing Jen?

Whoopi may be a fan of Hell's Kitchen, the show but the show acting liking she knew who the fuck Christina/Petrozza were was quite comedic considering that
the whole season wrapped up before it ever aired therefore she obviously knew nothing about them.
did anyone else notice: in the preview's last scene, when you see the two hands open the door knob, it looked like the person closer to the camera's door opened. The hand had a bracelet, it could be Christina. Did anyone else notice or is it just wishful thinking on my part?Yes and I actually rewound and watched that quite a few times. Christina is clearly the ones closest to the camera since they literally show them standing there together so no need to examine the wrists. We see Christina's handle turn down and I kept checking to see if Petrozza's does as well.. I would imagine one turns and the other is locked but for all I know they both turn and one is deadbolted and one is not.. Anyway..it cuts out before I can tell. |

Whoopi Goldberg being on last night's show was the biggest WTF moment of the entire season.

Whoopi must have been in "attention whore" mode when she filmed that. Too bad for her it took so long to air. I haven't heard her name for a
long time.

I loved the fashion part where they had to choose all these designs for their wait staff. Watch Jean Phillipe! He looks SO hurt and offended when Christina
completely shot down everything there. I will bet you so much money he completely had a big hand in choosing all of those fashions and Christinas like "I
hate ALL OF IT" and JP had his mind blown big time. He was fuming!
"So, uh, um, *snort* grr... you say you like, uh, black undershirt, yes, yes, *ahem* ok, and you want... pants?" OTOH Petrozza was very nice to Jean Phillipe and chose the fashions he was given and the difference in attitude by JP is like night and day. JP 3> Petrozza and is secretly rooting for him to win and will do his part to sabotage Christina watch next episode. If you mean Jean Phillipe guys, give him a hug for me. |

Based on the suspense, I'd think Christina's restaurant gets redone and ends up looking amazing. Her team will initially screw up with Louross and Jen,
and then she'll comeback and win the competition.
Go Christina! |

Petroza will faultier when his rest. burns down because a candle tips over ignites the floors around the table which in turns ignites a fat lady wearing a moo
moo who runs around hell's kitchen like a bitch from hell burning everything in her path.
OR The flowers will be SO fragrance that it takes away from the flavor of the food. |

Yeah I think the misdirection in the preview probably indicates that Petrozza picks Matt. Which seems like a bad idea at first but after I thought about it it
kind of makes sense. He's more familiar with Matt and so would know better how to handle him if he gets out of line. And then the whole Petrozza
emphasizing teamwork (which was brought up again this episode) contrasted with Jen not doing her part for the team when Corey needed help that one time. Jen
didn't like the guys but I think she really couldn't stand the girls so the odds are she'll probably be a total pain in Christina and Corey's
asses.
They almost made Christina look too negative this episode. The way they like to pull the switcheroos editing-wise that's probably a good thing for her chances. Which kind of sucks now that I'm rooting for Petrozza. It really seems like it could go either way and I still think he should just hire them both. |

If I am not mistaken, they show Jenn in a blue/white jacket. Christina's gang is in red.

^ Someone had said that it was a clip from a previous episode & possibly thrown in to confuse us since she's going to maybe be picked by Christina but
they could be wrong.
Hell's Kitchen loves suspense and misdirection. I doubt in the finale, the show will focus on Christina's negative nelly attitude the whole time and Petrozza as this fun loving guy. They need to make it seem like either could win and impress Chef Ramsey so I smell a comeback for Christina w/ her restaurant turning out nicely and them going into the dinner service equal.... |
