that appears to be mainly due to adjusting for park as howard has a better OPS but still, they're both playing like shit and you could potentially say delgado is slightly better shit.

Add to the fact that Dan the Man Uggla has been a more consistent player than Utley along with being the only one to predict Eli's G-Men to make the playoffs last season and bilkyownage is in full effect.


But yeah, sig brings up a valid point about Delgado's numbers w/ RISP. He's been better of late but I'd never trust him to get a clutch hit w/ the game on the line. That goes for every Met hitter except for D-Wright and maybe Church.

Since the Mets have done nothing but disappoint me over the last year, it's more like a sick feeling in my stomach.

Despite that, I'd love to see the Mets go into Philly and take those frauds behind the woodshed.

Yeah, the Mets seemed to have the better pitching matchups against the Phillies last season. That worked out well.

Santana vs Durbin (edge to Johan obviously but I think Durbin will pitch well tomorrow)

Maine vs Moyer (this is a wash. Maine has owned the Phillies while the Mets have made Moyer look like Sandy Koufax)

Perez vs Kendrick (slight edge to Ollie I guess. Kendrick is having a better year but Perez hasn't allowed a run in two starts vs Philly)

Pedro vs Eaton (weird as it sounds, the edge goes to Eaton since he's undefeated against the Mets. Not to mention Pedro has been dreadful in his last 3 starts)


The forecast for Philly over the weekend doesn't look too promising. Mother Nature is trying to save the Phillies from a monstrous pummeling. Consider yourselves lucky. ssts
