DiFelice posted a 3.95 ERA in 10 appearances, striking out 16 without a walk over 13 2-3 innings.
Gagne meanwhile has pitched 19 innings with 16 walks and a 6.98 ERA. I don't give a crap how much money he makes he shouldn't be allowed near the mound. Prediction: Brewers win the Central with 94 wins. Scrubs get the wild card.

His $antana joke over the weekend slayed me. Funny guy. If i were him i would counter twistedzman's posting of the Phillies recent record against winning teams to the Mets showingagainst last place teams. He'd find a similar record i'm sure. But that's just me. |

if cole hamels had a 1.08 era it would mean "cole hamels is a very good pitcher" and if the phillies didn't win more than half of them it would
mean "cole hamels is a very good pitcher who pitches for a team with a shit offense". win/loss record is a completely irrelevant measure of a
pitcher's ability because, you know, their team has to score more than the other team to win.
or do you think that justin duchscherer is having a worse year than vincente padilla because padilla is 10-4 and duchscherer is 8-5

I'm saying it doesn't mean shit that Johan is doing well in ERA if his team doesn't win when he pitches. It has nothing to do with better or worse,
it was a statement attacking the Mets moreso than Johan.
