Every Vegan/Vegetarian I have ever meet have been sickly and fragile. I know there are exceptions but walking around Seattle and seeing them up close is eye
opening. I did date this vegetarian chick once who I could tell really missed the taste of meat if you know what I mean. I was a very willing substitute.

The problem with vegheads is they aren't very smart. If it is a question of ethics they should start by picking a battle that we could all support. A billion dollars worth of beef is wasted each year (loosely calculated to 800k cows). That is enough beef to feed over 10 percent of the entire population of the country for a year. A good deal of this happens because of supermarket displays. A measure to cut down on the waste benefits everyone. Theoretically less demand would equal better conditions for the cow and less hormones in the end product. |

Well that too. It is funny to watch a sickly person try and convince you they are in better health tho.

It's practically a requirement here in the Bay Area, though.Yeah, vegans breed like rats there. I always made sure to have an extra cheeseburger handy in case I ran into a large group of them. |

There was a family of vegetarians on our street growing up and their kids were the weakest, sickliest kids around by far.
I love meat, and your mom loves mine. |

Insecure meateaters always like to tell about how sickly vegetarians are. It isn't true, of course. The list of famous and good looking veggie celebrities
is long. Brad Pitt and Pamela Anderson don't look sickly to me.

I can't even think about vegetarians without curling my lip into a sneer. My grandfathered-in friend is one, and she bitches constantly about how she's
also anemic. She refuses to take iron and she refuses to eat meat. You wouldn't know it was her choice from the steady whine about how tired and weak she
feels allllll the time.
My ex boss was British and a vegetarian, and refers to himself as a veggie. This makes me laugh for various stupid reasons. |

I think the lack of protein has screwed up your vision. Wouldn't this be working better for you if you were actually finding an exception to the rule? Here's how it works... you find one that looks good, that has been strict for at least 1 year, and that does not also eat fish and and then if I am not bored with this we can have a discussion. Vegheads that eat fish do not get as sickly as the others. |

It's all such a silly debate. Vegetarianism is obviously the enemy of evolution. You can't make an omelet of change without breaking a few eggs or
slaughtering an entire species. It's basic logic.

Ooh! How about I eat how i like and you eat how you like and we all live happily and non-judgementally ever after?
(I've been a vegetarian for a good 15 years, I was all ethical and haughty/obnoxious when I was about 12 but these days it's not even something I think about unless someone makes a big deal of it to me) Luckily enough I'm not all frail and sickly and whatnot. If you don't make smart food choices (veg. or not) you're gonna be unhealthy, meat or lack thereof doesn't automatically make the difference. Anything else I meant to add can probably wait until we have this thread again sometime around October. ~tari! |
