Is it just me or have they gone into overload with this show? It's just the food fucking network. They're not cooking Fugu.

That's "Bethenny", SmrtAss - the only thing I hated more than her face was the stupid way she spells her name. Anyway, I hear her Vegan baked goods suck. |

That was a great fall- arms flailing and throwing the quart of sauce over her head so it splats down on her. Too bad there was only one camera angle.
Agree that Lisa is the only one with gravitas. Kelsey should be put back in her rodent cage. |

LOL! It's my white-trash guilty pleasure. Those cheese biscuits with that iceberg-lettuce salad and ranch dressing is just plain heaven!

Me too! Unfortunately the only one around here closed and was replaced by an even worse BBQ chain. I could really go for some all you can eat crab legs.

Those Cheddar bay biscuit thingys are the bomb! ((And I don't even dig on cheese or biscuits much)) But at Red Lobster they totally rock. There are two in
my area..I think I might eat there tonight!

I think I remember them having a lunch where it was just all the salad and biscuits you wanted :)

Their biscuits = Bisquick + cheddar + garlic butter brushed on top. They even have the recipe on the box.

Anyone else watch this week?
I had no problem with Jen's departure. Aside from being a train wreck on the describing challenge (I'm kind of willing to cut her slack on the Udon, though I would have thought she'd noticed the difference once tasting it...) the way she opened that jar was pathetic. There are so many other ways to do that safely! And if she absolutely could not get the lid off...why not do it off to the side away from any food? I also can see where the judges called the deconstructed dish a cop-out--though it didn't bother me too much. I suppose they could have gotten boneless turkey/chicken breasts and some duck, pounded it all flat into a roulade of sorts and made that instead, but whatever. Jen was outclassed and needed to go. I still don't care for Lisa. I kind of wonder how Lisa would do on Top Chef. I'm having difficulty deciding if her cooking is really that much above everyone else--or if eveyrone else is just beneath her (except for maybe Shane & Kelsey). I'm suspecting it's more the later. Adam and Aaron--the blind leading the visually challenged. Aaron has had problems of eh-food and no personality. Adam has had problems of eh-food and personality. You knew this couldn't end very well. I wouldn't be surprised to see both men go in the next few weeks. Shane is the male to beat. Speaking of, Shane was the only one to nail the first challenge: he was warm, friendly, did exactly what was expected of him. Kelsey was so-so this time around. Their dish was the obvious winner this week too. Although not my fave, I think Kelsey is becoming the one to beat: she's starting to do real well on a consistant basis, and now that she's toned it down a bit, she's coming across real well on camera. |

Obvious it will be between Shane and Lisa.
That black guy is tough to watch. Why does he do this to himself? Adam is a joke- he just wants face time to start a stand-up career. Kelsey has got to go- she's an airhead with hair-trigger emotions. People feel sorry for her. I'd like to see the judges first take on some of these challenges- they gotta be laughing hysterically at them. |

I was wondering if anybody else was still watching this. I see 2 of you did.
It was very obvious that it was between Jennifer and Adam. I'm glad they kept Adam. Both of them don't seem to be very good chefs and at least Adam is entertaining. Jen was always so uncomfortable to watch. She was horrible in front of the camera and wasn't showing any improvement so i'm glad they got rid of her. |

I'm still watching this when I remember it's on... it's pretty sad.. the food looks awful.. the caliber of chef judges is pretty bad.. and the head
judge guy.. I can't STAND to watch him talk out of the side of his face. It's VERY discerning. I don't think I like any of the contestants.. I know
I hated Lisa when I first saw her.. but maybe she'll fully get the stick out of her ass.
