Fluke drive in a fluke game. Watching a superior Greatics team absolutely paste the Fake Show in 6 makes me think the Super Bowl should at least be a best of 3 series. What are the Greatriots on the Giants final drive of the Super Bowl, Alex?

I'm sure he's doing OK with the Celtics and Red Sox championships helping him through the night.

His bitter last post contradicts that.

Oh twiiiiiiisted. Are you aware of the Friday pitching matchup yet? At this stage of the game do you still have the balls for a repeat of our previous avatar
bet? Considering the shitability factor of your team, i'll understand if you turtle.

Why does Twisted talk so much trash when the Mets suck this year?

Haven't you been paying attention? The Mets got Johan Santana for four players!!!!! He's the best pitcher in the history of the world!!!!! And the Mets
beat the Phillies back in mid-April when the Phillies were under .500, so for sure the same thing will happen now!

Minor woes twisted, minor woes. Believing me now will only lesson your pain later. It's your call, man.

2-9 record in last 11 games + losing 6 series in a row= minor woes

Cole's still mad (and will be for the next three years) that he hasn't been given a huge extension.
ETA: wow, Gillick deserves GM of the year honors for convincing Myers to accept an option to Triple A

Does this mean Hamels will pitch Thursday in place of the wife beater? I hope not.
Phillies have done a nice job making their core players happy. Who can forget the Howard arbitration case where the cheapskate Phillies insulted him by offering him less than what he deserved. |

This team is just too talented to not be hitting the ball all over the park. For the life of me I struggle as to why we have such poor plate discipline, from
taking strikes right down the middle of the plate to swinging at pitches that aren't near the strike zone. After losing 2 in Minnesota and now losing the
first game to a struggling Arizona team, I'm beginning to get concerned.

If only the Phillies were willing to have a $138 million dollar payroll to field a 3rd place underachieving team...
And my guess is the Phillies will bring up J.A. Happ or whatever his name is to make the start Thursday since that would be his turn in the minors anyway. They should just bring up Carrasco and let him be the next Kendrick. |

I've been killing Mets management for years but at least the Wilpons are willing to spend (even if they don't know shit about baseball)
