Alex is an asshole. I don't want him to be the Mole. I couldn't stand him on the finale with some smug look on his fat face. Remember when that
other group found all their clothes and brought them back at dinner? Instead of being halfway appreciative, he says "We don't need a dance, just say
where you found them!" Like a snot. I guess hauling his belongings back is not good enough for musician douche idiot. You have to do it in the way that
pleases Alex. Die!!!!

I wonder if that's just the role he's playing as the Mole. The arrogant self styled Renaissance man who can't quite shoot straight. Every time he
fucks up or does something dumb he feeds into people's already dismissive view of him. (Bobby)
If it is an act, it seems to have fooled at least half the cast. |

something we should take notice of.

I can see how Alex could be the Mole in terms of just UTR edit and the way no one really suspects him but what has he done to hurt the team? If
anything..he's used his Spanish to help them especially w/ the pig challenge.
No one knew he knew Spanish..he could have kept that tidbit to himself. |

As for Alex's Spanish, he used it only twice and both times I'm pretty sure it was to divert suspicion away from himself as the Mole.
The first time with the pigs, I'm sure he used his Spanish to collect the pigs quickly in order to get back to the slingshot first so he could take
control of it to break as many pigs as he could. That's why he was so surprised when Craig got there so quickly and was resistant to his help, which also
fits in with his "I can do anything!" persona.
It actually makes perfect sense for the Mole to know Spanish if the show is going to be shot predominantly in South America. They can conveniently use those skills when they need to look like a player. Now that I think about it, that was actually one of the questions on the application. They specifically asked if you could speak Spanish. |

While Alex did nothing overt to lose money in this episode, his offer to let everyone go first in the key challenge was a good mole strategy as it gave
everyone else the opportunity to sabotage the mission so he wouldn't have to. The decision to leave Mark alone to choose between the key and exemption
without anyone to guide him morally was also a good strategy as Mark might have been more likely to take it by himself.

^^^^^^^^
Also, when everyone started refusing to do the second task, Alex immediately started throwing on the armor and made it look like he wanted to try just so he could look like a player. He had his work done for him in the second game but at least managed an attempt to divert suspicion. If he managed to get Mark to take the exemption it would have a perfect Mole round. I think Mark is on to him. |

Absolutely convinced Alex is the Mole. He was being a good little mole and putting on the armor and the rest were just screwing it up for the producers. Such
shades of Kathryn.
edited to add: Kenneth, I love ya, but one of us has to get a new gif for our avatar. Perhaps, someone could make a shiny new Alex is the Mole gif for one of us to use. |

I agree I was feeling the same things that were already stated. When they were all chained up and Alex was just standing there against the bars, I kept
thinking that the Mole move would be to prey on peoples' greed. These kinds of judgments are all up to interpretation though. I'll admit, no matter
how hard I try to keep an open mind, my interpretations of Alex's activities are colored by my strong belief that he's the mole.
One thing we can be certain about, however, is that Mark is NOT the Mole. The producers want the players to dress up in these absurd outfits and trek through the mountains, they're not going to advise the Mole to stage a mutiny before they even begin.

How's this for an avatar?
You can actually read the sign and see him behind Victoria in the bigger one I have, but oh well... |

Isn't it nice of Alex to look directly at the camera when they bring the sign?

What's funny about that scene is that Mark blames Craig for wasting time with the sign but doesn't mention Alex at all even though he's right
there.

Jumping on the Alex <3 bandwagon before he is revealed as the Mole.

Alex was being a dickhead in the locked up challenge to make someone angry so they'd take the exemption, like the mole wants them to. He may really be a
dickhead but I'm guessing the producers told him to antagonize the other team members in that challenge. More proof that he's the mole.

That would make him the first mole to do such. I do not recall the models or Kathryn ever doing anything like that.
(I have no idea what Bill did) |
