Hey you guys, remember when they said there was no time travel or science fictiony type stuff? Good times ..Did they really say no time travel? I remember when it all was supposed to be "science-fact". I guess that would include time travel. I do know the writers have said everything could/would be explained and not in some weird whattheeverlovin'fuck way. Not sure I believe that anymore. I'm surprised I hung in there after "Flashes".

They did say no time travel. It was way back, possibly during season 1, but I remember being glad, because I hate that time travel crap. Clearly, they were
lying.

What they said, if I recall correctly, is that everything that will be on the show will be grounded in science. Not necessarily "proven" science.
I went on to give more examples, and then I realized that most of the shit they have on the show has yet to be proven to be anything less than science fiction (Horace being alive, Alpert looking the same for 100 years, etc.). |

Yeah, at this point I'll be surprised if any of it is even remotely scientifically provable.

Yeah, I remember reading A Wrinkle In Time when I saw Sawyer reading it and coming on her and being like:
ZOMG U GUYZ IT'S LIKE TOTALLY TIME TRAVEL LOLZ!! And everybody was like, oh, don't be ridiculous, the creators said blah blah blah blah blah. And so I said ok whatevia. I was mad at them for lying for about two seconds until I realized that they kind of had to or else we'd have had it figured out a long time ago. The only problem I have now is it kind of calls everything they've ever told us into question. But whadayagonnado? Just sit back and enjoy the ride I guess. |
