Worst concert? I let a woman I was dating talk me into taking her to see Richard Marx. Not even being completely smashed helped.

worst concert for me was a Phil Colllins concert with a guy who was a total fucking dud. This was at Summerfest and dude just did not know how to have fun. He
was an uptight, conservative African American attorney. His ass was dropped real fast, but first I had him kindly help me move all of my stuff to my new
apartment.

Every single act sucked major cock Melanie Donovan Richie Havens Joni Mitchell Country Joe and The Fish Lou Reed (way better than everyone else) Pete Townshend Just a fucking horrible show all around. |

Worst? It's a tie:
Jane's Addiction in Philly. Played four songs then left. Something wrong with the PA system I think...but f that, get up there and play, Perry! The Replacements in Allentown, PA. Opening for Tom Petty. WTF?!?!?! Who scheduled that? All the TP fans booed the hell out of the Mats, who were drunk off their asses and played for about ten minutes. |

1999.
It was a three day thing....I would have rather gone on the first day and seen Don Henley and Stevie Nicks, but we couldn't get tickets for that night. The Sunday show was Marcy Playground and some other forgettable late 90's rock bands. |

I was wrong...it was 1998....the called the 1999 show A Day In The Garden too.
Sunday was Third Eye Blind, Dishwalla, Goo Goo Dolls, Marcy Playground. Talk about an empty loser lineup. |

worst was Steely Dan on their last tour that went through Houston - so boring that I fell asleep during the concert (no wine or drugs involved, just tired)

I watched that on HBO (shut up).
His band was awesome. Also, the audience seemed to be unbelievably packed with hot snatch. I'd go. |

The problem with G n'R concerts in the late 80s was the fact you were with too many people who were a mirror image of each other... in one confined space.
Sound wise? Best sound of any hard rock or metal of the time. Def Leppard were hot and cold. One tour they were unbelievable, the next sucked ass, the next - back to brilliant. |
