I've heard the spanish film [REC] was really good. Good enough to get a (probably bad) English version done (as Quarantine).

I don't know if this movie has been mentioned yet but I saw this French horror movie last night called High Tension that was really good.

I did enjoy The Devil's Rejects quite a lot. The reason I didn't include is that it's barely a horror/scary movie. It's merely a violent action
film. And even there, I remember critics saying how gory, sick and depraved the movie was and I really thought it was tamed by today' standards.
High Tension on the other hand I really did not enjoy. It was needlessly gory and the twist is something we've seen a million times. There were also some scenes that made no sense whatsoever. I don't know how to do the spoiler [+] thingy but I doubt people will mind anyways. There's this one scene where the girl is tied up in the back of a van and her friend comes to rescue her. Yet, the ending twist clearly shows that she is the killer who happens to be driving the van at that very moment. I mean, WTF?? I can gobble up the whole "scizo personlaity" plot, but being at two places at once? |

I didn't get that either. The guy at the gas station clearly saw the woman crawling around the store, and also saw the guy who was supposed to be the
killer. Also in the beginning it showed the bad guy in his truck getting a bj from a decapitated head.
The twist didnt make much sense at all. But I still was entertained by the movie altough I did not like the end. |

I also never understood how come in the English version, one of the chicks speaks normal English and the other one has a super thick French accent.
