It is a big lot. All of the lots on our street and in our neighborhood are 1 acre or more.. and people are selling. The people buying are putting up 2 or 3
huge houses on each lot with no yard at all. Just like the little gray house and the huge one behind it. That used to be one property with a huge yard. The
front house is a rental and the back one was sold.
I'm really looking for 10 riverside/waterfront acres to build on soon. We can't afford our two houses and are selling the Orcas property since hubby really needs to stay local with the Boeing commute.
I'm a Santa Barbara girl and I really miss the beach but I would enjoy a river or lake front home. With the way the economy is going now.. I'm really just happy to have my house and garden with all my critters.
