Why haven't the scientists come up with a cure??? If we can put a Man on the Moon and take pictures on Mars, we should be able to Cure Cancer.
Maybe I'm paranoid, but if there was a real cure for Cancer, the Cancer Doctors would be out of business.

I know, it's just wierd that Cancer has been a fatal disease for so many years, and they haven't come up with a cure yet. I don't think they have really come up with cures, they just try to kill cells that also kill good cells and make people so sick they want to die.it's fu
I had a friend in HS, her father was a Doctor and found out he had Cancer, he put a bullet in his head in their basement.
If I was told I had Cancer, I would get my affairs in order and just die. I'm not giving Doctors more money to "try" to keep me alive when they Know it's futile. Fuck Them

certain types of cancer (leukemia, for one), have a really high cure rate, so I wouldn't kill myself if I found out I had that kind of cancer

Thyroid cancer is highly treatable, as well. Not the anaplastic type...but the other two respond to radioactive iodine tx.

Putting a man on the moon has nothing to do with curing cancer. They are completely different problems. Besides, it's been nearly 40 years since we put a man on the moon. We don't have the capability anymore.

Plus, for medical researchers, the important thing is finding a cure for AIDS. That's way more important than cancer.
