Kelly's has done awesome so far in her career. And she's still the same (or at least appears to be since I realllllly don't "know" her).
I very excited for new music from her.

The EW thing is pretty cool. I like all the albums they chose, but I'm not a fan of the ranking. I think Breakaway might be a bit too high, but I
don't mind. Also, Kelly is the only alum from American Idol to make the list.

Matt, I agree. I think it's a bit high too as there are other albums on that list that I'd say had a much bigger impact musically speaking such as
U2's Joshua Tree. But I'm not gonna lie and say it doesn't make me happy to see her getting recognized that way. and yes, pretty cool that
she's the only American Idol artist on the list and I really think that's because the industry no longer thinks of her in terms of her American Idol
win because she proved with Breakaway that she didn't need the show to sell her albums and have success having not promoted the album even once on the show
during it's shelf life.

Emily West Rocks in your shoes Her debut album apparently will be released sometime this year.� She's been a singer/songwriter in nashville in 2000 and is signed with Capitol Nashville. and who, I wish my hair grew as fast as Kelly's!� it's amazing! |
