Wow, the episodes on the CW changed the intro again (they added the sassy girl with big hoop earrings now) - I'm guessing it's another new season!
Damn, at this rate (they show 5 episodes every Saturday afternoon), the CW's going to catch up with the new episodes. I'm scared. I wish they'd
slow down a bit. They're already at the episode where Manny shows her boobs to the principal's son.
Great, great show. I love it. |

They just showed: Emma becoming anorexic; Spinner having sex with Paige without Darcy knowing; Alex breaking up with Paige; an episode I forgot; and the
seniors graduating! I got a little teary-eyed, especially during the part where Jimmy and Spinner finally started having a conversation. I was surprised that
only some of them graduated - I thought all of them were in the same grade.

I'm only watching on the CW. All I want to say is "Wait a sec, Paige is a lesbian!!??!!??"
The girl who plays Emma kinda turned out to be a pretty bad actress. She really shined early on but just seems to have lost it as she got older. The curly headed singer dude got ugly when he got older - he was sooo cute when he was younger. The girl who plays Paige really can act - I guess that's why they give her all the juicy storylines. Great show - just as good as the original. |

with it. Who knew Canadians could make their own TV show? jk
I also like Paige as an actress but her face takes up the whole screen. Alex and JT are my favorites - but it's odd they haven't featured him ever since Liberty got preggy. |

New Degrassi tomorrow, I can't wait!!
Degrassi is the show I credit with getting me into bad television. I've long laughed at ridiculous movies, bad acting, horrible writing...but none so much as Degrassi. My boyfriend was actually the one to discover it late one night, and he instantly thought of me, popped a tape in, and gifted it to me the next time I saw him. And since then, I am just a fanatic. I haven't really figured out how the new episodes work on the CW, so I just watch them online. The-N.com has them up pretty early on Friday, so you don't even have to wait for the channel to air it. |

Degrassi on the CW? It's all about the N people! lol. It's sad that I was watching JUNO recently & ignoring everyone else in my living room, I
blurted out, "Look- it's SEAN from Degrassi" & they all stared at me like I was from outerspace. I had to laugh at myself- I'm proud of
my little Degrassi kids whenever they get to leave the school.

Well... that's 7 seasons down and the youngsters FINALLLLLY graduated!!!
This season finale brought a tear to my eye... but I think it's just because I still feel some raw emotion from JT's death. This was the best episode in a longtime --- i think because it focused on the core ORIGINALS - emma, manny, toby, liberty. gave me that season 1 feeling all over again. interesting how they sorta left a cliff hanger with peter wanting to be emancipated. I'm not sure how much more degrassi i can tolerate with all these new characters... there's only so much of them i can take. but it was a nicely written episode, nice to see them finally all graduate. *sigh* i am left with the feeling of empty closure... can't wait for season 8! |

And wow - Liberty has turned into such a tall, slim and pretty girl! She's still

I just saw the ReRun on WB of pretty much where I stopped watching, when that guy shot up the school killing someone.. Paralyzing another ect..
I watched randomly from than, but guarenteed I haven't seen the last three seasons. I went on Wikipedia wanting to read what I've missed - but they have shit two line descriptions of the episodes. So that did no good other than the fact that I know some other school burned down, so they got new students that way.. Seems to be a Degrassi esq thing to do.. it happened in Jr. High as well from what I remembered. I always liked the Marco/Dylan storyline - I wasn't "out" in High school so I always related to that kinda =\ I need a new show to get into, since UKBB is ending soon - Just something to watch randomly inbetween College/Work/Nightlife.. I wouldn't buy the DVDs, so pretty much have to YouTube it, but I just found Project Runway Australia in HD.. so unless I can find Degrassi HD on Youtube, I'll stick with Project Runway <3. |

I watched the finale a couple weeks back. It is really strange to think these kids I grew up with have actually finally ended their schooling. I just can't
imagine Degrassi without Manny/Emma/Liberty/Ashley/Paige/Craig and all the people I grew up with. I don't think I will be tuning in after this season....
Especially since Darci hit it big time.
