The mole, early on, doesn't need to do much, everyone trying to throw people off the trial of the mole themselves act like the mole. So the mole doesn't need to sabatage anythign cuz' all the other playes are doing the dirty work for them. Clay has just sat back and let it happen. Last night when he wrestled the exemption away from his selfish team mates was a very good somewhat subtle move. Anyway, now that I hav epicked him, he will be the next to go, as everyone I thought was the mole has been executed.

Clay did nothing to sabotage the team in the first episode, so he can't be the mole. He probably figured out he needed to act molish later on so that's why he refuse to walk through the town looking for clothes and acting "selfish" in the last episode. I don't think Nicole or Kristin did anything to sabotage the team in the first episode either so they can also be eliminated as potential moles. Alex is my choice for the mole but Paul and Craig are still possible since they didn't grab the bag going over the falls. Mark has a very slight potential if you think putting the wrong items on the table in the scavenger hunt challenge is being molish but he was never given all of the right items to put on the table, which was probably because Alex hid them. I believe Clay when he said that he was glad he had the exemption last night.

Craig -- If we could trust Nicole's cofession about how she'd suspected Bobby .... 2. Alex -- He acts a bit funky in my eyes. Some thing's not right. 3. Mark -- What C...Bird said. Plus the over-reaction to the burning of them journals. 4. Clay -- He's utr, but he's not sabotaging much. He won't have to have the exemption. 5. Kristen -- Every now and then she has this strange spark in her eyes. 6. Nicole -- All the tickles in her throat, trying to act like a Mole? 7. Paul -- Please don't let him win! I think he's cocky because he's sure he's on the right track. But again, I was one of those real sure about Victoria before last night! So ignore me as usual!

Can point to several missions where he's caused less money to go into the pot. 2. Nicole - It pains me to rank her this high, but my husband is full-on certain she's the Mole. I argue that she's too OTT, but what if that's her strategy? "I'm so OTT, no one will suspect me." The baby crying thing last night really stuck in my head too. 3. Craig - Because I think him being the Mole would be diabolically fun. A faked ambulance trip? Priceless! 4. Alex - There's something a bit moley about him. Dunno. 5. Kristen - Has exhibited a few moley behaviors. 6. Mark - I considered him higher until last night. Did you see the incredibly tidy and ordered notes in his journal. Yikes. 7. Paul - If he's the Mole, everyone will be pissed. I realize this isn't a reason for ranking him so low, but it's a process of elimination and here's where he falls. Today. I'd pegged Victoria as a possible Mole too, so I really do suck at this.

The Mole didn't sabotage at all in the first episode of the first season. Granted, the missions weren't exactly easy to sabotage without being really obvious.

That's been my suspicion since the start... originally because one of the ads for the show said "who is the Mole?" over a loooong shot of Kristen. I think they are trying to give hints this season, they're just a lot more subtle ala season one. Plus, in the opening credits she has a red flash above her name -- the only one who has this. I mean, I don't think she's being the most extravagant mole, or the most interesting, but it's definitely her.

This girl is NOT the mole. 6: Paul-Seems to be a player, a player on the right track. 5: Craig-For a bit I thought he was the Mole, but why would the Mole push themselves to that sort of a limit, when they can already just use the fat card? There would be no reason to, unless he wanted to circumvent the journal thing for some reason. 4: Alex-Meh. He still just seems like a jock to me. 3: Clay-Very original Mole. Only problem is, the trait he shares with the first mole could rule him out. But it's time for a black mole, I suppose. It could be him. He's very subtle at sabotage. 2: Mark-If you needed your journal that badly, how come you stayed? 1: Kristen-She's been my pick since day 1, and I'd love it if my first choice turned out to be the Mole.

Paul - Has added very little to the pot, could be using his seemingly abrasive personality. 3. Clay - Getting to be a stronger contender as the mole every week 4. Kristin - Didn't stir the pot enough last night on the selfish team 5. Nicole - Didn't stir the pot enough last night on the selfish team 6. Alex- using his Spanish too much to help out 8. Craig - High altitude, out of shape - the producers had to know there was a chance he would get ill

The fact is you can still make a case for everyone which makes this show a great who dunnit. I'm sooooooo glad it's back on.

After reconsidering and re-watching the first episode: 1) Craig - I think he was faking the near-choking during the wterfall challenge to throw people off. 2) Alex - seems fishy 3) Nicole - could be the mole, but seems to be trying too hard 4) Kristen 5) Clay Not the Mole: Paul - good at pushing peoples buttons to get them to reveal themselves, my pick to win Mark - seems too into the game

He started off not sabotaging anything and now he's progressively sabotaging more, which is typically Molish. He also has a quick explanation/cover-up everytime he costs them money. For instance "I'm not picking a lot of bricks because I wanna get there fast" The "I'm costing money but I have a logical reason for it", alibi is again, typically Molish. People who screw up on purpose to throw suspicions on them usually have no exucse to explain it. It's pretty much "My bad". The Mole often comes up with an excuse for the sabotages, because he/she doesn't want people to think it's him. And i agree with whoever said him trying to get the exemption was a subtle way for them to not agree and not win any money. If it's not Clay, then Kristen or Alex. But to my recollection they barely cost money to the pot if any. And Alex reminds me of BB Dr. Will. I think he's just a slick player. Ditto Kristen. I actually "suspect" them of being the winner. A lot of people are starting to suspect Mark, but I think his caring father/obsessive player act is legit. If it turns out it's him, then kudos for being convincing. The others I've pretty much ruled out. I still stand by my assumption that Craig was simply cast to fill in the "Rupert" role. Besides, they probably would've sent him hiking on the mountain if they knew beforehand he couldn't hack it. And it would be really lousy if the ambulance thing turned out to be fake. I don't think they would play with people's feelings like that or go to those types of lenghts to throw the suspicions off of him. Nicole and Paul I've ruled out 5 minutes into the premiere. The show obviously doesn't even try to make them suspicious anymore, they're basically telling us it's not them. They're your typical OTT characters who want attention. If either of them turn out to be the Mole, I will be beyond shocked.

As someone has so astutely observed, the Mole HAS to sabotage SOMETHING between every elimination that results in a MONEY LOSS in order to be fair to the contestants. So, of the remaining people, who has pitched a "perfect" game in any particular episode? I don't follow the show that closely- so someone else will have to come up with that. But that person is eliminated as the Mole. In looking at Craig's bio, I see where he has sleep apnea. Christ what a pig. Just lose some weight, doofus. I still think he is the Mole, but less so.

Just off the top of my head, he was a scavenger on the beach - multiple ways to sabotage that, he was in the soccer game, plays soccer and was the only one prior to Ali's goal that we saw miss the penalty shot, broke lots of pigs until Craig showed him how to use the slingshot, placed two apples on the table and missed his question this week when obviously the answer could not have been Mark. Kristen is my number two suspect, she was a scavenger, obviously took money from the pot by taking the exemption in the hill challenge, carted Bobby around and wasted lots of time looking for pigs, lost money on the luge and this week Nicole caused her to loose money on the questions. I place her lower than Alex because I think the Mole would have challenged Clay more for the exemption.

Either the Mole was a scavenger or wasn't active that mission. Mark pretty much took charge of the appraising, which left Kristen and Liz with practically no influence. He didn't sabotage anything though, because they got everything right from what was brought back to them.
