30 Years Ago: June 26-June 30, 1978 (Head Writer: Ann Marcus): Michael was jealous when Margo dated Tony Viola. Steve charmed Doug and Julie into giving him loans and promised to return to Salem. Mickey and Maggie brought Joann to Salem so Bill could perform a heart bypass operation. Greg suspected that Marlena is ill and not merely rundown like everyone suggests. Neil made another pass at Linda.

25 Years Ago: June 27-July 1, 1983 (Head Writers: Margaret DePriest & Sheri Anderson): Bo and Roman rescued Hope and arrested Mr. Rudolph and his would-be rapist friend. Hope later moved in with Roman and Marlena, who mediated chat sessions between Hope and Julie. Chris urged Liz to forget her plans to leave town. Neil fought his feelings for Lizand planned a solitary vacation. Don smoothed things over after Maggie heard Melissa say she saw Don smooching with Gwen. Daphne suspected that there were other copies of Stefano's second will. Woody told Gwen that he was blackmailing Anna. Alex told Gwen about his plot to marry Renee, and Gwen tried to speed up David's divorce. Roman and Abe looked for proof that the mystery scarf belonged to Liz.

20 Years Ago: June 27-July 1, 1988 (Head Writer: Leah Laiman): Just as Roman was about to ply off to Japan to search for Diana, she returned to Salem. Bianca posed as Diana after she realized Jose had sent his henchman to abduct Diana at the airport. Diana and Roman flew to the Bahamas. Anjelica began blackmailing Harper over the fact that he tried to poison Kayla. Melissa was in +%*+% after Jack told her he can never trust her again because she kept his adoption papers a secret from him. Kayla wrote the name of her attacker on a piece of paper, but when Kimberly phoned Shane to tell him, Kimberly was attacked and she lost the paper. Harper confessed to Anjelica that he's sterile. In the Bahamas, Roman had flashbacks of a man falling off a cliff. Preempted on Friday, July 1 for Wimbledon Tennis.

15 Years Ago: June 28-July 2, 1993 (Head Writer: James E. Reilly; Nielsen Ratings: 8th place/4.6 rating/15 share): Jennifer went to the sanitarium to see her mother, Laura, to find out whether Abigail's mystery illness has a genetic cause. Kate sneaked into Laura's room at the sanitarium. After learning that she has an ulcer-like lesion on her stomach, Caroline worried that she would die of stomach cancer like her mother. Vivian told Ivan she thought Caroline might be perfect as her next victim. Nikki conned Carly into spending the night on the couch with him instead of in bed with Bo. As Sami eavesdropped, Marlena decided to have a test to prove whether Roman or John is the father of her child. Carrie frustrated Austin as she continued to back away from his friendship. Lucas decided he was going to get Carrie. Preempted on Thursday, July 1 and Friday, July 2 for Wimbledon Tennis.

10 Years Ago: June 22-June 26, 1998 (Head Writer: Sally Sussman Morina; Nielsen Ratings: 2nd place/4.9 rating/17 share): Roman told Marlena that Sami needs to accept John in her life. Nancy and Craig paid a woman to drug Mike and get him naked in bed, just as everyone, including the hospital board members, walked in on him. Sami wrote "dog" on a naked, passed out Franco before learning that he did not cheat on her. Lucas overheard as Sami accepted Franco's proposal. Stefano switched Vivian's mood again, making Celeste and Ivan wonder what was up with Vivian. Upon their return from Los Angeles, Eric invited Nicole to the family picnic. After sketching a replica of a famous painting, Hope wondered if she was an artist during her amnesiac years. Swamp Girl got very upset when Bo started a fire nearby. Bo was shocked when Swamp Girl started humming his and Hope's song, "Tonight, I Celebrate My Love."

5 Years Ago: June 23-June 27, 2003 (Head Writer: Dena Higley; Nielsen Ratings: 7th place/2.8 rating/09 share): Belle and Philip got into hot water when they snuck onto one of Maya's ships, but were able to escape. To distract Maya, Shawn invited her out on a date. Rex warned Cassie they can't let anyone know who their real parents are. Cassie continued to persue Lucas. Rex had Mimi search blood records at the hospital to find out who his mother is. Nicole helped Larry escape from his police escort and hid him in the stables. Brady wondered what Nicole was up to. Sami told Marlena she wants to get out of the hospital and back to her apartment. Sami dreamed of Lucas making love to her. Jack and Jennifer had a sushi chef on their TV show. Alice told Hope that the stock market caused Hope's trust fund to lose all of its money. While working on their next case, Bo and Hope got captured and tied up. Maya delivered a vial of a mysterious substance to an excited Tony.
