Yeah. I really felt bad about putting the African-American woman so low, but I figured if I was going to go through with the enlightenment racial hierarchies,
I had to keep her at the back. 'cause those hierarchies have had a massive impact on the world today.

Final Roadblock: Who should sit at the back of the bus? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
In this roadblock, that person must analyze the world's social hierarchy and system. When they are told to begin, they will find 12 people of the world who will wish to sit on the bus. They must then order each person to sit 1 of four categories. The closer the person is to the front of the bus (shown by the black square which is the Bus driver's seat), the more important they are deemed to the "world". The farther back a person sits on the bus denotes their importance (or lack of) to the world society. The bus is split into 4 categories (Green, Pink, Periwinkle, and Red). All seats within the color category are basically relative and can be exchangeable.
This task relates to American history as during the Plessy V. Ferguson era, buses were segregated such that whites sat in the front, while blacks had to sit in the back. Following the Montgomery Bus Boycotts, bus desegregation was implemented. Teams will have to take a global perspective on this topic and determine what type of people in the world would have to sit at the back of the bus. They must state where their 12 people will sit on the bus and a written statement why they have chosen people to sit in their spots and any ethnic, social, and/or political observations they make. Speed counts only for so much, as when a person has posted their statement and work, a 5 minute timer will begin. After the 5 minutes have passed, all works posted within the time period will be judged. The person with the most thorough and insightful statement will be awarded their clue first and thus, effective win the game. Good luck to all of you! *Cluebox opens* For brilliantly using society, race, and class to make your observations. Kitty's response was more thorough, but it was more flawed than each of your individual responses. Congratulations. 1st Zach & Scarlet / Siblings (Level 5) *Cluebox Jams*

*Cluebox jams* You justified your race reasonsing well, but you fail to see that there are some exceptions outside of this circle. Religious and smaller ethnic minorities are considered unusual and you did not take this into account as much as L5 did. 3rd Manny & Rena / Siblings (KittyPryde1) |

Finish Line.
The Finish Line for this season is the White House. Built in 1792 and then rebuilt again following the War of 1812, the house has served as the home of all the US presidents except for George Washington. The House plays its own role as it host diplomats, bilateral discussions, and other important international forums. Dignitaries from all over the world have visited the White House when visiting the president. This international symbol of the United States and its recent Bush Administration is the finish line for the race. The first team to cross this line will win the million dollars. *Run to White House* 1st Zach & Scarlet / Siblings (Level 5)
