Do all Kelly fans hate Carrie or is just the one's who feel threatned by her? Is it because they feel Carrie has overshadowed Kelly? Or just can't stand the fact that Kelly isn't the only star that idol has produced?

well to answer the first part of your question, no not all Kellyfans hate Carrie, in fact they actually share a large portion of their fanbase. There is a very long thread dedicated to Carrie on the Express and it is full of devoted fans who have seen her in concert, who have met her and who track her career with just as much enthusiasim as they do Kelly's. In fact several former idol contestants have very positive threads on the Express, Daughtry, Jordin, Cookie, Carrie, etc. The Kelly fans have shown their support for every idol since the show began. there are three artists' fans from idol who seem to have an issue with Kelly and/or her fans; Justin, Clay and Carrie. I find that very telling. Justin makes sense, they were in direct competition together, his fans have at least an understandable bitterness towards Kelly. She got everything they wanted for him and he was pushed to the side and fucked over. Clay and Carrie make no sense at all. Neither has ever been in direct competition with Kelly. they've never even competed for the same audience as far as I can tell. Yet Clay and Carrie fans are the most critical of Kelly.

Now as for the Kelly fans who don't like Carrie I can't speak for them all I can only speak for myself. I never liked Carrie. From the moment she showed up on American idol something about her rubbed me the wrong way. perhaps it was the she sings from the back of her throat, sounding like a gagging frog at times, perhaps it was what I perceived as her bitchy attitude, perhaps it was the overpimping by the judges, perhaps it was that I was a fan of Vonzell and Bo.... who knows. I hated or at least strongly disliked Carrie throughout her season and that was long before she was successful so my dislike has nothing to do with that.

Actually, today, my dislike has less to do with Carrie and more to do with her fans just as Carrie fans claim that their problem with Kelly isn't her, it's her fans. It works both ways.
