Rudy, with the exception of "wanna be startin' somethin" already being placed, this list is delivering nicely thus far.
Also, I didn't realize just how much of an impact on my musical tastes MJ really had. I am happy to say I am in the process of downloading a bunch of his songs for my ipod as I type! Despite his creepy monkey love, his wacko jackoness and his crazy eccentricities.. Michael Jackson is the motherfucking King Of Pop and it shows!! And...although its technically one of his discoier songs, I am hoping PYT is in the top ten at least? lol Anyway, carry on with this awesome list! |

Thanks! I've pretty much always been a fan, so I can really see the impact he's made. But for some reason I have never been as big a fan of Wanna Be
Startin Somethin as some of his other songs. Personal preference I guess.
#14. Jam This is one of the Michael Jackson songs that was big at the time when I started becoming a fan. It starts out kind of weird, it almost doesn't sound like Michael's normal singing voice. This song has a bit of a hip-hop feel to it, definitely different from a lot of his stuff. It is one of his faster paced songs, and even features a small rapping segment from Heavy D. The music video is cool and fun, with some great imagery. It matches up the two best MJ's of all time. For some reason the idea of Michael Jackson playing against Michael Jordan on the basketball court just makes me laugh. |

#13. Why You Wanna Trip On Me
It was never a huge hit, but I always loved this song on the Dangerous CD. This song has a very good beat and is backed up by strong vocals from the man himself. It is kind of an edgy rock/r&b mixture. He sings about all the issues that there are in the world, and everyone's still gotta be picking on Michael Jackson. He's basically saying there are more important issues to worry about in the world than him. This is a good one, and it is very underrated. |

#12. Give In To Me
Just like the above title, I don't recall this one ever being a huge hit, but it was always one of my favorites on the Dangerous CD. This is a very fantastic and powerful song. I don't know if there is much of a message to this one, but it there is just something about it that I like. It just sounds great and is easy to enjoy. I've always loved this song. |

#11. Scream
I remember this being Michael Jackson's big hit comeback single off of the HIStory album. The song is classic upbeat King of Pop that also features vocals from his sister Janet. It is basically about all the negative attention he was getting at the time and how it made him want to scream. He even drops the F-Bomb during this song, which you almost never hear from him. The video is a classic. It is black and white (just like michael and his sister lolololololol) and has a futuristic theme to it with losts of cool special effects. I think it is one of his coolest videos to date. I am going to start speeding up this list since I don't think anyone cares and I have another list I want to get to. |

#10. Remember The Time
Here it is, Claude! The Dangerous album was filled with a crapload of really good songs, and this is another one of my favorites. This is a very catchy R&Bish song that really shows the versatility of Michael. He can really sing anything! Slow heartfelt songs, ballads, rock songs, and r&b. The music video is another classic one. This Egyptian based video is over 9 minutes long and features celebrities such as Eddie Murphy and Magic Johnson. Michael even kisses a good looking girl in this video =0. This is another great one from the king of pop. |

Woops! I forgot about In the Closet when I was doing my list. It probably would have ranked somewhere around 18-20. Come Together certainly wouldn't have
made the list. Whatevs. Naomi Campbell is in this video and she is FIERCE! It seemed like her and Michael actually had some chemistry in this one.

I think that the "Scream" video was the priciest music video ever made up til that point in time. I remember hearing that it cost somewhere upwards
of $20 million dollars.

Yeah, I read the same thing at Wikipedia. I am sure it was mere pocket change to him though.

When you have a ranch and an amusement park at your house you probably don't care very much about that amount of money like you said. |

I have to admit I'm not loving this list so far but Jam is a great Michael Jackson song. The video is funny when Michael Jackson is teaching Michael
Jordan to dance. And hey, I'm a much bigger Michael Jordan fan than Michael Jackson so this video is all good.

I didn't start liking Michael Jackson until I got the Dangeous album for some birthday or Christmas present. I liked it so much I went back and got Bad and
Thriller, and then got HIStory when it came out. I didn't even know about Off the Wall until after I got HIStory. I went back and got that album too, but
there were too many songs I did not know and it was too disco-ey so I didn't like it as much. Most of the remaining songs are from Dangerous, Bad, and
Thriller.

#9. Dangerous
The title track of off the Dangerous CD was actually not my favorite song on the album. But it was still a fun song that I listened to all the time. It's an edgy, rockish song that I always loved. I don't think this song got as much credit as it deserved. For some reason I could not find a music video on YouTube for this song. There were a lot of live performances and fan videos, but no actual MTV video. Did he never make one? |

#8. Will You Be There
This song was the theme song for the movie Free Willy which came out around the same time as the album with this song on it. I have never seen the movie Free Willy, but this was always one of my favorite songs and videos from Michael Jackson when I was a kid. It is an inspirational sounding song that is just very catchy and fun to listen to. |

#7. Billie Jean
This is one of the most classic and memorable Michael Jackson songs ever! It seems like everyone likes this song, even people who aren't Michael Jackson fans. While you may be surprised this is not higher on the list, I think it is slightly overrated. I do enjoy a handful of Michael Jackson songs a bit more. It still rules though, and has a great music video. Big props for also appearing on the GTA: Vice City soundtrack. |

#6. Who Is It?
Another song from Dangerous appears on the list. Who Is It is a very awesome and well written song. Many people consider this to be one of, it not THE best songs from Michael Jackson. I don't really know what else to write, other than that is an emotional song and just very pleasing to listen to. One of my personal favos. |
