and while every dish is mostly fabulously inspired, its kind of getting repetitive how for desert the chefs almost always make secret ingredient flavored icecream.

Tough loss for Symon. Hope he bounces back in his next contest.

I haven't seen last night's olive battle yet, but Andrew Knowlton and Jeffrey Steingarten are my two least favorite judges. They are both crabby
bitches with sticks up their asses.

Ugh...
Two weeks ago, Battle Olive. And this week...Battle Blackfish. Gross. With my luck, those would be the challenges I'd end up judging. Let's have some Battle Ice Cream...I'd gladly judge. |

OMG. Andrew Knwowlton is a spoiled white woman disguised as a man. Cannot STAND to hear him prattle on... Sorry I am a little late... |

Zucchini as a secret ingredient???
You must be joking. PS for anyone who hasn't heard.....Michael Symon is taking over for Robert Irvine on Dinner: Impossible! starting in September. |

dinner impossible is now the best cooking extra show on food network. Symon rocked that shit! so very happy Irvine fucked up. and if I could have found a
thread for the show itself, I would have posted it in there.

I love Mike Symon and enjoyed him on Dinner Impossible, but I have to say I liked Robert Irvine also. He gave a very "rushed" and "high
energy" feel to the show. I thought Mike was more laid back with his approach. I liked it. And I think the Dinner Impossible thread has fallen to the
wayside, but I don't post enough around here to want to start a new thread.

what a horribly underwhelming episode ... none of the baramundi dishes were innovative or exciting at all
except the salt-crusted one |

The barimundi ep is an old ep, boring indeed.
Tonight's new one is Morimoto so i'm in. I only watch if it's him or Symon. |

I would expect YOU to like curry, Nomii.
I'd love to see a real secret ingredient...like BEEF. |

the judging of battle snails totally pissed me off. for one, who the fuck was that meathead WWE guy and what's he doing on a food show.
and also, no way should Flay have won. the indian chef's dishes were 100 times more interesting and original than the hohum pizza/risotto/carbonara that flay handed out. |

Dave "the Animal" Batista was the meathead WWE guy.
