Is the new Dawn of the Dead funny or scary? Cause I liked the original, but I'm a total wuss when it comes to actually scary movies and I thought the
previews when it came out always made it look more scary than funny so I didn't see it.

In one of the sequels (Return of the Living Dead? anyway, it was released in 1985), it's some kind of chemical weapon leaking from an Army base. I think
it's better when they don't explain.

Yep, that was it, cindi. That's cool about the fat lady. I didn't know that. I think one of the things that made the remake so good was the character
development, which was excellent for a horror movie. You actually cared about who got chomped rather than seeing them as just zombie fodder.

Yep. One of my favorite moments of the movie is Ving Rhames' reaction after Sarah Polley blows the head off the asshole who had the boat.

The fast zombie thing is very upsetting. Just more to worry about at night.
Personally, I don't need it explained. Zombie movies are kind of immediate. Shit's happening and you have to run. That's all the info you really need. |
