just wondering why the great lefty thinkers on this board have yet to advance a single theory on making this ruling work.
Suppose captive #1 says I am innocent, i was at the movies when they arrested me, I never been no terrorist! what does the left expect the gov't to do to prove thier case? how many soldiers come off the lines to testify? how many operatives testify and "out" themselves? how many covert technologies do we expose? how much money is spent per prisoner? *expects to wait til doomsday before getting anything near an actual response* |

They were being detained without cause. Or at least not being told the cause. If you throw somebody in jail for years, you should have to at least supply them
with a reason.
It's not like any of these guys are actually going to win a trial. Come on now. |
