We should have episode threads, choreography threads, technical problems threads, "People Thinner Than Mia Michaels" threads, "People Less Annoying Than Mary Murphy" Threads and "People Sexier than Susie" threads. For the week of 6/8/08 the Wednesday night show boasted 6.8 million viewers, and the Thursday show got 6.3 million viewers. The next week the Wednesday night show got 9.6 million viewers and the Thursday night show got 9.3 million viewers, EASILY landing both episodes in the Top Ten for the week. Meanwhile, The (over-hyped AND not-watched) Mole premiered in dead last in its time slot, and then the next week it lost a whopping 16% of its viewers with slightly less than 4 million viewers. It tanks at or near the bottom of the ratings chart!!! Why does a show with an audience over twice as big as The Mole get ONE THREAD while The Mole gets an ENTIRE FORUM? Natalie BassingWTF did kinda suck, but I think she improved during the season, and I have no doubts she'll be better next season. To me, the worst part of the show was having 10229824774 hip hop routines every week and something like 1 ballroom routine. Gosh, they hated ballroom. And goddess Vanessa <3 That stupid hip hop routine with Demi and Kate was such a blatant (and rigged) attempt to get rid of her.

She only had one actual contemporary routine throughout the whole season. The rest were fucking retarded mixed-contemporary genres (disco-contemporary, capoeira-contemporary WTF!?). Here's hoping Season 2 improves. Back to America's SYTYCD, I'm really loving Joshua/Katee, Twitch/Kherrington (kill me I know, she's not that great but that routine seriously disguised her shit dancing), the grinny gay guy/fierce black girl and Mark/Chelsie.

I cant believe Will was in the bottom three. He is absolutely the Danny (but better) of this season. I blame it on him getting almost no screen time in Vegas. i love his partner too she is adorable. Love that red hair. I also really like the Mod-ish looking guy. Whats his name?

Seasons 2 & 3 had couples being eliminated first. The producers have a hard-on for Kourtni for some reason, and Will was a no-brainer. That's what protected Matt and Jessica. I think the producers (esp. Nigel) use the solos as an excuse to kick someone out if the opportunity presents itself, and once they've made up their minds, it doesn't matter a hill of beans. As a matter of fact, I believe had Rayven danced en pointe, they would have told her that they would have liked to see her stretch beyond what she usually does and kicked her out anyway. If 8 of the couples are relatively close in the voting and one couple is barely registering statistically they would be fools not to take that into consideration. I would suspect last year that what kept Cedric alive, other than his uniqueness (bleh) was that he was in and out of the bottom three and never really a clear UN-favourite until his number came up. Could be this week that Jamie and Raven were in dead last and it wasn't even close.

I think a lot of voters participate to "help" their favorite by keeping them on the show. Will's Debbie Allen connection might imply he really doesn't need help because Allen can get him jobs.

As of right now, my favorite couple is Katee and Joshua...But who knows what next week will bring them. I also loved Aleks and Jason after "Unwritten", but they crashed and burned soon after.

You just eliminated a big chunk of the dance "diversity" in the cast. Rayven was the only ballet dancer and Jamie was the only male from the ballroom world. And they saved FOUR contemporary dancers when we have a huge glut of them. Jessica definitely should have gone home. I am so pissed off that the judges maintain that the tango routine she did on Wednesday was good! And since Marquis wasn't in the bottom three and therefore couldn't have gone, they should have gotten rid of either Will or Matt. Even if Rayven and/or Jamie was the worst (and I'm not convinced that they were), they weren't THAT much worse than Jessica/Will/Matt that it would have been robbery to keep them around for their "uniqueness". How many times did Cedric get saved for being unique?!?!
