I wanna go to the KC concert, but since the Cookie is from that area, the tickets are alittle tricky to get. I refuse to sit in the nosebleeds. REFUSE!

This picture reminds me so much of my brother step-brother at this age. The face and body look very similar but my brother wore his hair down and curly.

Jason's Grandpa died today. Here's what his mom said...
Happy father's day! My dad got the best father's day gift! A one way ticket to heaven! He left at 1:06 this morning and was finally able to end the pain caused by prostate cancer! We had no idea until last Saturday when he was rushed to the hospital! Thanks for all the prayers and support! God took care of every little detail and his last days were peaceful, comfortable and free of pain. The staff at Hospice House of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs FL are top notch and so caring! What a blessing and comfort they have been to me this week!Thanks!I'm not sad! I feel blessed to have had the time to see him off on such a special day! God is SO good!What faith she has! To glorify God when most would question Him. |

That's pretty amazing to have your father die and not feel an overwhelming sadness. I hope Jason is taking it well too.

What faith she has! To glorify God when most would question Him. Not to take anything away from what she said, but many feel the same way when a loved one who is ravaged by cancer dies. The overwhelming relief and happiness that the pain and torture is over trumps the sadness of their death. His mom put into words what so many of us have felt very eloquently. |
