If he is sick or something and he told Paul what was wrong, Bobby would have gotten sympathy from everyone. He obviously didn't want any sympathy so what's his game. I just can't believe he is that lame. He seems like a smart guy, so I think he is trying to send off mole vibes.

I'm shorter, but just as skinny as as Bobby and the amount of physical activity that occurred in the first two episodes would be more exercise than I get in 6 months. Hell I don't even like going outside. I would be in just as bad shape as Bobby if not worse. Which leads me to thank Bobby getting cast on the show and not me, as you guys would be ripping me to shreds.

Fat folks do have their uses.

Even if Craig and Liz did the challenge, if they took the taxi to the top and got the exemptions, NO money would have been added to the pot. In addition, had they taken the cab, the $5,000 would not have came from the $35,000 possible for the challenge, it would have came from the money already in the pot from previous challenges.

Do we know how the mole is picked, ie a random draw or the producer's choice? I know the 2 celebrity moles were female and I think at least one of the regular moles was too? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The Mole is picked by producers before the show begins, and likely brought on board as the Mole at some point during the casting process. Correct me if I'm wrong. Yup, of the four Moles we've had, three have been women. The first Mole, Kathryn, was the young, pretty chick of the season. Our second Mole, Bill, was the old, retired man of the season (actually, there were two, but he was the one with the military/navy/whatever background). Then, in the two celebrity seasons, both Moles were female models.

Just to give us a little insight into what kind of characteristics they look for in a mole and why that person was chosen to be the mole. It could be done as a segment in the reunion show where they usually show what all the episode clues were.

I think they learned after Season 1 not to pick anyone who is too emotional and sensitive. Other than that they probably look for smarts and good acting ability.

Nope, the $5000 would have been subtracted from the $35,000 if the Goal Oriented reached the top first and Uphillers took the cab and got there last. Previous mission pot's $$$ are not eligible for dipping out of. They can only bargain with the money offered in the mission at hand. So Craig and Liz would have been the perfect choice for Uphill Battle. They'd never have made it without the $5000 cab ride. If they got to the top first in the cab, it wouldn't have mattered cuz there would be no money to subtract anyway.

And if the taxi got them to the top first, no money would have been earned for the challenge. Essentially, Taxi = -$5,000 winnings, not $30,000.
