And I would like to point out, KH was all for George & Izzie getting together until the fans came out against it, then she called it a cheap stunt. She
needs some class

If Katie Heigl wasn't so fucking hot, I would want her to die. Every time she opens her mouth, a dove cries.

I say they limit her to hot sex scenes with Alex and nothing else. They have good chemistry. I think the studios may need to widen the doors a little to
accomodate her humongous ego. Why does she assume she'd be nominated for an emmy just because she won one last year? Sandra Oh was so robbed.

Something's fishy here. What if Shonda et al got Heigle to say this to stir up buzz? Last season they had the Isaiah W. shit going around & now
everything's died down & the show's slumping. Maybe they really are shooting for a Sandra Oh Emmy nom?

Heigl Upsets Grey's Staff With Emmy Snub13 June 2008 5:20 AM, PDT Latest: Katherine Heigl has upset staff on the set of Grey's Anatomy after withdrawing from the Emmy awards as part of a protest about her character's development
on the hit show.
The actress insisted her name be left off the official ballot because she felt her character was awful during the most recent season of the medical drama. But the move has disgruntled workers on the programme. A source tells America's Entertainment Weekly, "The show bent over backwards to accommodate her film schedule, and then she criticises the show for lack of material? "It's an ungrateful slap in the face to the very writers responsible for her Emmy win in the first place." Heigl won the Best Supporting Actress prize at the Emmys last year. She has since established herself as a movie star with roles in Knocked Up and 27 Dresses. |

And yes, more Sloan, he is so much better than just pretty. And for fuck's sake- PlEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE don't let that gross nasty Hahn fuck up my Calleigh character by being in every scene with her. I hate Hahn. Hell, this show could be Calleigh, Alex, Christina and Bailey and I'd be fine. |

I didn't even know KH had won an emmy for her role last year- I couldn't stand Izzie las year with all the homewrecking bullshit and what not.. in
fact, I disliked her so much last season that I recall thinking of her as that season's Meredith. I think a lot of people felt that way and that might be
why the writers went in a bit of a different direction with her.. well that and to accomodate her film schedule. Gads, what a diva bitch she's becoming.
Too bad.

Denny happened. That's why KH got the award. But it was good tho, I admit.

From Ken Levine's blog:
It's Friday question time. Here's a rather timely one. J Gillespie wonders what I think about Katherine Heigl pulling out of Emmy consideration because "Grey's Anatomy" failed to deliver the goods for an award-worthy performance." I think it's an unconscionable slap in the face to the writers of her show. It seems to me there are three possible explanations for her taking this position. 1) She thinks this will motivate the writers to better service her character. It's hard to believe anyone could be that stupid. If I were producing that show her part would be reduced to giving enemas. And there would be messy equipment failures. 2) She's looking to get her release so she can pursue her feature career. Making a fortune on a hit television show is keeping her from starring in such breakout films as 27 DRESSES. 3) Her integrity as an artist prevents her from performing anything she feels is below her very high standards. After all, this is a thespian who has appeared in BRIDE OF CHUCKY, VEGAS DICK, BUG BUSTERS, and of course UNDER SIEGE 2. If Katherine Heigl wants to pull out of Emmy consideration, fine. Let her. There are much better, more deserving dramatic actresses anyway. But how would she feel if the producers of Grey's Anatomy were allowed to disqualify her from consideration because they thought she did a horseshit job performing their scripts? There's such a thing as professional courtesy. And gratitude. Katherine Heigl, YOU have failed to deliver the goods. responses, etc. here |

Pretty much couldn't agree more with that guy. SHE decided to spend her time filming starring roles in major films (despite the fact I never heard of 27
Dresses until now), and if she's gone most of the time, of COURSE she's not going to get the screen time she wants.
Bottom line is that it's obvious KH no longer wants to be on GA. She thinks that she's a "name" enough to go do films and launch her career on her own (which is completely false, she won't stay an A-list star if she leaves GA now), so she is trying to piss off Shonda so she writes her out of the show. Frankly, I hope they do. I'm tired of her AND her character. |

does that mean Sandra Oh will get a emmy nom for her work in greys. they should nominate her for the last episode in season 3. she was amazing in that ep.

Sandra Oh is SO MUCH MORE than all those other ho's. She should get all their emmy noms and their fucking emmys- except Bailey's.

I can't wait until a couple years down the road, when KH is no longer the new face and isn't getting any movie offers, and she tries to come back to TV
and no one will hire her because they will be remembering this. Does she not realize that she is giving herself a less-than-favorable reputation? Ken Levine
pretty much hit the nail on the head.
God I hated that Denny storyline, it's when I started not liking Izzy. |

I was very disappointed when she dumped Alex for Denny. For all of Alex's faults, you could tell he really cared for her. Then she hitches her dumb ass
to George's useless wagon. Ugh.

Speaking of, is there a "smush" name for the Alex/Izzie coupling (ala "MerDer" or "Gizzie")? I've never seen one. |

I sure as fuck hope not. But, I'm sure some pathetic twat with no life who thinks the people in the TV are real has come up with one, and has it all over her Alex/Izzie shrine. |

Well whatever it is, it can't be as bad as "MerDer." That's the dumbest name ever.

They all make me want to vomit. Is it that hard to say two names? Really? And it makes me wonder if these people do that with their RL relationships too.
