Update: Pix of Hotwire's "Project Runway" barista BlayneJune 18, 2008 at 5:53 pm | In WS culture/arts, West Seattle people |We mentioned this earlier in the middle of a multi-topic post - and clearly we erred in not making it banner news: Blayne the barista, who's worked at Hotwire Coffee (WSB sponsor) for 2 1/2 years, made it to the popular cable-TV reality show "Project Runway" and is taping now for the season that starts next month. Now, courtesy of Hotwire boss Lora Lewis, we have pix of Blayne and his art: The first two photos are self-explanatory; Lora says the third is Blayne's self-portrait, while the fourth is his "latte art":

I'm wondering with 3 weeks away and not a peep about the cast from anyone if this MIGHT be an All-Star cast. I mean with the promos we've had about the
"winners" "criers" "villians" I'm thinking its like a reminder or something. Maybe Barisblah is in the 6th season or
something.

Interesting. I don't feel like going back through this, but does anyone recall any posts about audition cities and such? Normally we know where people are
auditioning and when. Right?
Not to mention, they seemed to have put this one together quickly after the other one ended. Last time it was a year break. |

I was just watching the latest Ausntm on youtube and the final 3 were in NYC and Malan was the featured designer. His clothes were awesome and no ruching to be seen. I just wish he didn't have that Balke odd accent thing going on.

show could have a decidedly new vibe.
According to Variety, the show's original producers are tied up with a production deal for NBC. Now that Runway's moving to Lifetime for Season 6, it needs a new team. With 21 years of the Real World under its belt, not to mention Living Lohan and Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bunim-Murray's a veteran of the reality genre. The series already promises to have a new look and feel when it says auf wiedersehen to Bravo, but how will the new producers design the show? - Anna Dimond lol @ not changing the basics. I can't WAIT to see sexy bitches like Laura or Sweet P runnin around up in the hot tubs |
