I have a 54.00 fucking era in my fantasy league right now because of him.
I dropped him before the second inning hoping it would take. It didn't. |

d'oh Well, if it's any consolation, the Rays should gut and fillet the Fish this weekend. Maybe. I mean they are on a straight slide to hell since that fight and all. FUCKING COCO |

RF Corey Hart
SS JJ Hardy LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder 3B Russell Branyan CF Mike Cameron 2B Bill Hall C Jason Kendall P Seth McClung I can't stand idiotic moves like bringing in Julian Tavarez anymore. Melvin crapped his bed by signing Gagne and made it worse by bringing this chump in. Memo to Dougie: Try giving your minor league relievers a chance, it could do wonders. What a wasted effort by McClung. After Braun hit the HR to RF the Astros really shifted gears with how they pitched him. Everything hard and inside.

Looks like Pujols could very well be joining Wainwright on the DL. Tough break Tony. Tough break.

Angela in WI wrote: The only problem with that is the only reliever the Brewers have in AAA worth a shit is Pena and he's been doing horrible. While Tavarez wasn't a great option or anything, the amount of moves the Brewers could make was limited. If the Brewers don't get a reliever at the deadline and Melvin still has his job, I'll probably torch Miller Park. But a guy like Fuentes who is a good reliever, isn't resigning with a team that is doing horrible, is going to be available. I sense the Brewers are going to be heavily in that race, especially now that it finally looks like the rotation has uprighted itself some so they won't have to try and acquire 3 SP's I pretty much guessed the lineup that Yost was going to throw out and I agree with it, though it sucks that bitchy Hall now gets to play everyday with his stellar batting average... |

Another night at Wrigley; another win. Even when the Braves took a 3-0 lead in the first, I wasn't really worried. The Cubs certainly know how to make a
comeback. This was the first time in my 17 games this year that I was in shirtsleeves. I kinda miss the winter coat. I had a feeling that walking Ramirez to
get to Soto in the eighth was going to backfire on Atlanta. Soto was due. Hmmm... 41-24 ain't so bad. And 27-8 at Wrigley is OK, too.
I'm back to a four game winning streak and I'm at 14-3 for the season. My next game is Friday of next week against them horrible White Sox(sorry, CRA). |

Guess which MLB team has the largest divisional lead?
No, it's not the Murderer's Row team wearing red anchored by Chase Lazzeri and Babe Howard although you'd think so from all of the hoo hahs here by their fickle fans. No, the team with the largest divisional lead is none other than... drum roll.... The Chicago White Sox! 6 1/2 over the Twins and climbing. Twins, Indians and esp. the Tigers don't seem poised to stop the White Hose. Willis is packed off to the minors. At 10 games under .500, Tigers are easily the biggest dissapointment this year. |

Yeah, Wood was like that at times, too. Lilly mowed down 11 batters in a row afterwards in the game. Maybe if Lilly is just told that he's pitching the
second inning instead of the first when he starts, he'd be OK.
Sorry, CRA, next Friday's Cubs/White Sox ticket is part of my 9 game package. Like the Sox, the Cubs sell packages to 'season ticket holder waiting list people'(I was 50713 as of last November) with one or two good games and the rest just ordinary. However, I can't complain about my package this year. I'm 6-1 with those games. If I can get four tickets for one of the following weekend's Sox/Cubs games at the Cell, I'll PM you. I lucked out last year, but only got two because I didn't know anyone else who wanted to go. lightning36 will drive up from downstate if I can get them and my nephew wants to go, too. Oh yeah... I got my #26 cap last night as a giveaway to go along with the #10 and #14 caps I have. The 1969 set is now complete. |
