That's not entirely correct. The replacement was Jennifer, not Rachel. Jennifer apparently admitted on the live feeds that she was called up at the last minute, the day before entering the house, and she knew a little bit of what the house looked like due to the pictures that came out.

Yeah - I saw something in the Sun (a tabloid, so take it for what it's worth) where her estranged husband was complaining that she went in the house and didn't tell him. That she has her kid staying with her parents and told the husband she was going into the house as a trial run contestant. (They have these people who live in the house for a week or so to make sure it works the way it should.) At some point I guess she was promoted to a real housemate and he claimed she never told him. This is the Sun, so he is probably stretching the truth, but there you have it.

The fact of the matter is there is no talking things through with Alex. It's simply not an option. Alex yells at people, she doesn't engage in discussions. She is beyond reason. I still think to some extent she's aping some of Charley's mannerisms (she keeps saying "I'm not being funny...") but otherwise she's a whole other monster. Her struggles don't give her carte blanche to treat other people so horribly. I detest this sense of entitlement and demand for respect that young people like her insist on adopting. It's one thing to have confidence and stand your ground, but there's this sad trend where I see people taking it to extremes. It's very worrying.

I can't WAIT for her to get locked up in the jail.
