Lovin' the Maxie/Claudia unholy alliance that's poised to destroy uber-annoying LuLu! (For the record, "LuLu" is being said the way Anthony Zachara says it.) As was asked earlier in the thread, what specifically did Claudia do to put LuLu on her case? All of this hatred seemed to come out of nowhere. Watching Maxie seduce Johnny and having LuLu witness it will be so sweet!

I too hope that if Carly is pregnant, that the father is Jax and not Sonny. She'll find out she's pregnant and will have to wonder who the father is. DNA tests will be performed, as per usual soap opera protocol; and because of the need for testing, Jax and Kate will learn of their partners' cheating, causing much drama, blah, blah, blah.

Good for Jason too for telling Sonny that he can't be involved in things any more. And of course, Sonny only hears what he wants to hear. Jason told him that he'd run the loan shark out of town but that he can't be fixing everything. Sonny then stormed off saying something like, "Well, if you won't fix it, I'll have to do it myself!" What? Were you not listening? He said he'd take care of it. Mike certainly understood when Jason stopped by to fill him in. Sonny's retirement will last all of two weeks, if that.

And what's with Carly thinking that Sonny is too dangerous to be in her life, but Jason is a-okay? If I have to sit through another "Why are you friends with Jason/Kate" argument between her and Jax, I'm gonna spit.

Friday's show was interrupted three, count 'em, three times! Why you felt the need to break in to talk about R. Kelly and Tim Russert is beyond me and millions of other sane individuals. No offense to Tim Russert and his family. It's terrible that he died at a relatively young age, but did you need to break into regularly scheduled programming to tell me this? No. And did I have to know RIGHT NOW that R. Kelly was acquitted of statutory rape (or whatever his charge was)? No. Methinks you assumed the public would be all astir about this, ala OJ and the big splash he made years ago ... especially with the daytime fans, who absolutely adored having their shows regularly preempted. You couldn't be more wrong. R Kelly is no OJ, and this case didn't come close to having the level of media frenzy or watercooler-discussion time. No one but those intimately involved (pardon the pun) gives a shit.

Unless I need to take cover NOW because either there is an imminent natural disaster or we're being bombed or invaded, don't interrupt my show. I will choose to get the news when I choose to get the news. Your decisions about what constitutes need-to-know information is highly suspect, and I do not trust that you have my best interests at heart. Your job is to report the news, not make it.
