Murderously alive. The scene that got me last week was when she started sewing that poor dude's lips together. shiver shiver And I like regular folks going bat shit crazy all of a sudden causing mayhem & murder. Or being given something intensly beautiful to look at & the person goes into a dream-like state only to wake up & what they thought was a fantasy land is actually hell on earth.

Then when she saw that he had been bitten, she closed them both back up in the compound, trapped again by her family's vow to devote their lives to making sure the vampire didn't get loose in the general population by keeping him well-fed, safely inside the compound. He could have left whenever he wanted, but he had never needed to because they made sure he always had fresh blood. It was just meh to me. And I wasn't at all enticed by the previews to watch next week. Good to know that ep. 3 got good reviews, though, because I don't know that I would stick around that long otherwise. Maybe this is one that can vary so much week to week that I'll just record it and see if it grabs my attention.

That movie, in the movie theatres was scary! I think a storyline with bizzare creatures, or even vampires/werewolves and all the other things that go bump in the night can still work to scare people. I agree, that most of the time, the scariest movies involve situations that could occur.

Next week looks good with Eric Roberts in it. I'd agree with what some people said earlier in that stuff that seems like it could actually happy scare me the most. Friday the 13th doesn't scare me, Nightmare on Elm Street doesn't either. (Except when I saw the first one and Johnny Depp got eaten by the bed. WTF?) Scary stuff that messes with my head freak me out the most, and hopefully "Fear Itself" will have some of those episodes. Are any of the upcoming episodes have something with clowns? I'd like to know in advance so I DEFINITELY don't watch it. Clowns scare the shit out of me.

Those clowns sure were crafty with there cotton candy cocoons where they would suck the blood out of the victims inside.

I've already said I hate, hate, hate ventroloquist dummies. Another one that scares me to this day even thinking about it is "It's Alive" about newborn babies crawling around maiming people. Some scenes show their little bald heads crawling & I had to turn away from the screen. My dear ex-hubby actually took me to the drive-in to see this when I was 6 months pregnant with my first daughter. Every little kick would freak me out. And when she was born, she had the cutest little round,bald head just like in the movie. For months I had to force my mind not to go back there. And sofa, TV shows can still make a huge impact on people. The Twilight Zone gave me many different nightmares for years. The worse was the pig people removing bandages off the ugly person who was actually normal. Arrrrrrrgh!

Last movie that really scared me was Blair Witch, because I have a fear of camping. Childhood thing.

I was really young at the time and there was a scene with some killer clown thing that killed children, or something like that. That freaked the living shit out of me. Oh, and Willy Wonka scared me when I was young too because of that bitch turning into a blueberry and the fat kid being sucked up that tube.

I was so utterly disappointed when I saw that movie. Maybe it lost something on the tv as opposed to the big screen, but so many people had said how it was sooooo scary and when I finally watched it, I didin't find it very scary at all, and was more annoyed than anything else.
