A close-up view of a coconut on the beach is then shown, before the camera switches angles to show the six somber Airai members returning back to camp. Tracy and Eliza are both shown standing in front of the fire> Tracy: Poor Earl. <Terry can then be seen setting his torch down, as the camera turns to him> Terry: That was a blindside… <The infrared camera now cuts back to Eliza again> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: Tonight at Tribal Council, we voted Earl off; completely blindsided. I think everybody, including Jeff, was visibly shocked, <The camera shows Ruth Marie sitting down by the fire> and <pause> Terry is upset that he's going to be voted off. <Another close-up view of Eliza is shown again> Um, <pause> he thought that me, Ruth Marie, and I guess Mikey would be voting with him against Tracy, <Tracy is now seen tending to the fire> but we had other plans, and I'm just so thrilled to finally be in a semi, you know, solid alliance with the Fans. <laughs> <Another clip of both Tracy and Eliza is shown next> Tracy: <to Eliza> Thank you for, you know, keeping to your word… <Eliza now nods her head> Eliza: This is the way it needs to be. <laughs> The five of us… <Tracy then says "Yeah," as the camera shows another close-up view of her> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: I was definitely concerned going into Tribal Council. <The infrared camera shows a wide view of several Airai members> With the new Airai tribe I ended up with and Earl giving his Immunity to Terry at the last second, <Terry can be seen hanging the Immunity necklace from his torch> any number of things could have gone wrong, but the Fans really came through and me, Ruth Marie, Jason, Tracy, and Mikey, <The camera scrolls cross each of the castaways> it's basically our game. <Eliza is shown again> I think Terry's gonna go the next time we have to go to Tribal Council, and there's nothing really going to change now. <Terry is now shown walking over to Eliza and sitting down on a nearby log> Terry: <to Eliza> Thanks for stabbing me in the back. <A surprised Eliza can be seen turning her head> You know, that's exactly what I expected from you, and <pause> I say that with all due respect… <Another close-up view of Eliza is then shown next> Eliza: <to Terry> Well, you've only been plotting to get me out since, what was it? Day One or Two? <Terry is heard saying "Don't get so defensive!"> As soon as you realized you could blame me for your mystery vote, <Mikey is then shown sitting nearby> so <sarcastically> yeah, I think I did totally the wrong thing by me flipping… <Terry is now shown again> Terry: <to Eliza> A weak tribe is only gonna get you so far. <The infrared camera shows a thoughtful-looking Jason, and then shows another side view of Eliza> Eliza: <to Terry> But at least it won't have you, right? <Terry then shrugs his shoulders> Terry: <to Eliza> Touché. You got me on that one… <Another view of Terry is shown> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: Earl gave me Immunity from Tribal Council tonight, which is basically the reason why he got voted off. <A close-up view of the Immunity necklace hanging from Terry's torch is shown> Though it's tough to see the guy go out in that manner, I am totally stoked to still be in this game, and <long pause> I'm not just gonna say "Oh, guys. It's been fun. Thanks for, you know, letting me stay for fifteen days and keeping me around." <The camera now focuses back in on a fired-up Terry> Uh, <pause> that's not gonna happen! You know, if I'm going down at this next Tribal Council, it's gonna be in a blaze of freakin' glory, man… <laughs> <A close-up view of the Airai tribe's flickering fire is shown, before the infrared camera fades into a clip of Terry> Terry: <to Eliza> What ticks me off is you're gonna tell these guys, you know, "Terry can't be trusted." <A wide-eyed Eliza is shown listening intently> Well, why should they trust you when you're the one that turned on us?! <Another infrared view of Eliza is shown next> Eliza: <to Terry> Because I did flip on you guys and it'd be stupid of me to flip back, <The camera shows a wide view of the six Airai members> because one, I don't trust you… <Eliza can be heard saying "Not one bit," as Terry interrupts her> Terry: <to Eliza> Well, you know what? That's fine… <The infrared camera returns to Eliza> Eliza: <to Terry> And two, because I'd rather see one of them win, so <long pause> the future is limited for you. <The camera switches angles to show Terry, who tenses his expression> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: Eliza's comments about my future being limited, or whatever the heck it was, is ridiculous; <Eliza can now be heard saying "Sorry, Terry; your days are numbered"> you know, um, <short pause> like she's some kind of clairvoyant who can tell me how far I'm gonna go in the game… <The infrared camera goes back to an irritated Terry> Terry: <to Eliza> We'll see what happens; <pause> you don't know… <Eliza is then shown> Eliza: <sarcastically> Yeah, yeah… <The camera now scrolls back over to a frustrated Terry> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> Eliza is totally gloating right now, but you know what? That just shows her maturity level compared to my maturity level, and <long pause> I can take it, definitely. <Quick clips of Terry and Eliza are shown> I'm not gonna let her get under my skin, so <long pause> tomorrow's a new day, and if I can play my cards right, um, the tide may turn… <laughs> <The camera shows another wide view of the six Airai members> Terry: <to Eliza> Just to let you know, I'm gonna fight like hell to win Immunity, and <pause> I may not be cordial at camp… <Another close-up view of a now-annoyed Eliza is shown> Eliza: That's fine! The screen then fades out> Malakal Tribe - Day 16 <'Passing Clouds' plays, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the dark sky and night turns to day again. An aerial view of several tropical islands is shown, as the camera scrolls around them, and then cuts ahead to show the Malakal tribe's flag, as rain drips off of it. The camera then shows a disgruntled Joel climbing out of the tribe's wet shelter> Joel - CONFESSIONAL: My world is spinning upside down right now. <Joel can now be seen picking up a coconut and chopping into it> I mean, I went from a very comfortable situation in the old Airai tribe to probably one of the most uncomfortable over here because if the Favorites start trying to knock off threats, I'm at the top of their list. <The camera then cuts ahead to show a clip of Joel, Mary, Kathy, and Alexis talking on the beach> Joel: The tribe swap totally threw me off… <Alexis is now shown nodding her head> Alexis: The Favorites have all the control right now, if they stick together… <A close-up view of a distressed Kathy is then shown next> Kathy: Can we try to get one of them to vote with us? <Mary says something inaudible, as the camera scrolls across the four Fans> Can we at least try? <Joel is now shown again> Joel - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> At this point, I'm not gonna cause a fuss, <Another close-up view of Joel is shown, as he eats a piece of coconut> but I am thinking about different ways that people could go, who could potentially align with who, <A clip of Aras and Ian fishing is shown> and what could be going on behind my back. <The camera goes back to Joel, as he takes a long pause> I'm playing this whole game like a mental chess match and that's really what you have to do to stay one step ahead… <A fast-forwarded view of the clouds rapidly shifting in the sky is shown, before the camera fades into a clip of a black spider waiting in the middle of its web, and then cuts ahead to show a close-up view of the Malakal tribe's flickering fire. A worn-out Ami is now shown sitting on a log, as she yawns> Ami: I'm so tired. I just can't sleep in a hut with nine people… <laughs> <Ami is shown again> Ami - CONFESSIONAL: Sleeping in the shelter last night was horrible. <The camera now shows Sherea staring into the fire> It was freezing; <short pause> it rained all through the night; <Brooke is then shown next> the wind was ripping through us, and <pause> we fought over the blankets all night. <laughs> <Another close-up view of a shivering Ami is shown, as she talks to Brooke and Sherea> Ami: Joel took up twice as much of the blanket. <Brooke nods her head> My feet were sticking out; <short pause> it was cold… <The camera continues to focus on Ami for a few seconds> Ami - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> All nine of us were just pulling and tugging back-and-forth, <A wide view of several Malakal members still lying in the shelter is shown> and I woke up this morning kindof in a crabby mood, which I don't normally do… <Brooke is shown again> Brooke: <to Ami> I just keep waking up in the middle of the night. <The camera shows Ami> Ami: <to Brooke> Yeah; why do you think that is? <The camera then switches angles to show Joel with an amused look on his face, as he tosses a log into the fire> Joel - CONFESSIONAL: You know, there was complaining this morning about not being able to sleep through the night in the shelter with pillows and blankets, which is ridiculous. <The camera continues to show Joel> I mean, I've got two young kids; <laughs> these people have no idea about getting up in the middle of the night, <Kathy is shown sitting by the fire and eating a piece of coconut> and <long pause> another thing, I'm sitting there by the fire, <Joel now sits down beside Kathy> and I get absolutely zero response to trying to start up a conversation. <A view of the blue sky is shown, before the camera fades out to show another clip of the castaways sitting around the fire> Joel: I think we're gonna have clear skies comin'… <Sherea is then shown staring ahead> Sherea: Mm hmm… <The camera then cuts back to Kathy and Joel again> Joel - CONFESSIONAL: At this point, Kathy and myself, we're very isolated, and of course, with Mary and Alexis, <A clip of both Mary and Alexis sitting in the shallow ocean waters is shown> people want to have them around because of the way they look, but <long pause> when it comes to me or Kathy, it's almost like they have blinders on and they don't even notice us sitting there. <The camera continues to focus on Joel for a few seconds, as he takes a long pause> I do feel like an outsider on a tribe with six women. <A clip of the three original Malakal women is shown> You know, did I somehow go back in time and end up in Vanuatu? <laughs> <A close-up view of a grinning Ami is shown> But, <long pause> right now, all I can do is hope that Alexis and Mary don't team up with Ami, Brooke, and Sherea <Rapid clips of the women are shown again> because if they do, they've got us beat. A close-up view of the Airai tribe's wet flag is then shown, as it blows in the cool breeze. The camera now switches angles to show Terry striking the flint with the machete, as he tries to start another fire> Terry: <talking aloud> Here another day… <A few sparks are generated, before the hit the wet wood and die out. The camera continues to focus on Terry, as he subtly shakes his head> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: We had Tribal Council last night, and <pause> I feel bad for Earl because he did kinda get screwed for helping out a friend, <Tracy can now be seen chopping into a coconut> but this is the moral of the story: <short pause> you are never safe. <Another view of Terry is shown, as he blows on the wet kindling> It doesn't matter who you are, you could be gone just like that, <Tracy snaps her fingers> and that's absolutely the truth. 100%, without a doubt. <A frustrated Terry is now shown tossing the flint into the sand, as he walks back over to the shelter, where several other Airai members can be seen> Terry: I can't get a damn flame… <The camera continues to focus on Terry for a few seconds> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: The past couple days, I have been hoping that I'd be able to pull Jason and Mikey into an alliance to at least keep us going. <A view of both Mikey and Jason in the shallow ocean waters is shown> Unfortunately, that didn't happen last night, but <pause> the fact that I was given individual Immunity, um, is something that I can hopefully use to lure those two guys over to my side… <The camera zooms in on Jason> Jason: <to Mikey> The rats were in the shelter again… <Another view of Terry is then shown> Terry - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I'm still wracking my brain and figuring exactly how I want to play it, <The camera focuses in on Terry, and then scrolls over to the Immunity necklace> but I'm hoping to approach those guys some time before Immunity, and if it all works out, Eliza and Ruth'll be gone… <'A Zen Trip' begins to play, as the camera shows a fast-forwarded view of the sky, and then fades out to show a clip of both Eliza and Ruth Marie at the water well. That is such a good find… <Jason is now shown stacking the wood in the shelter, as he says "We must stock up." The camera then turns to Tracy> Tracy: <to Jason> But don't bring it all out yet because where are we gonna keep it dry? <A close-up view of the pile of firewood in the shelter is now shown next> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: Jason, you know, I love him to death, but <short pause> he's 22 and still a kid in a lot of ways, <Both Jason and Terry are then shown collecting wood from underneath a cave overhang> and I think sometimes, he needs to show a little more in the common sense department. <Mikey is now shown lying by himself in the shelter, as he smashes a fire ant with his fist> Mikey: <talking aloud> Where the [censored] did these ants all come from?! <A comical music begins to play, as the camera shows a close-up view of the pile of firewood again> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> This morning he found dry wood, which is great, <A view of both Jason and Terry carrying firewood is shown again> but <pause> it had fire ants in it, and he just shoved it in our shelter… <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows the camera shows the six Airai members gathered around the shelter> Jason: These are like genetically modified fire ants… <Mikey is shown examining his arm> Mikey: I got like two or three bites already! <Another view of Tracy is then shown next> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The ants are relentless, and they are the biggest ants I've ever seen in my life. <A clip of Jason taking the firewood out of the shelter is now shown> Tracy: <to Jason> We can't, we can't get rid of them. <Another prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows a view of the stormy sky and lightning flashes above the ocean. A large puddle on Airai's beach is then shown, as rain begins to pour down into it. The six castaways are then shown huddled in their shelter, before the camera zooms in on Mikey> Mikey: Now we're gonna get even more bugs cause of the rain… <Ruth Marie is now shown with huddled with her head resting her knees, as a sympathetic music begins to play> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: Mentally, I'm a lot more prepared for the game this time because I've already gone through the experience before, <A crash of thunder is heard, as rain continues to pour down> but physically, it's a lot tougher on me than I anticipated… <Ruth Marie is now shown scratching her bug-bitten legs> Ruth Marie: Which type of bug is it that makes this? Is it the ants? <Jason is then shown> Jason: <to Ruth Marie> I think it's the fire ants, yeah. <Jason can now be seen examining his forearms> They're the ones that give you this red thing… <Jason points to several red bites> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I've got just bug bites galore. They itch, and they're swollen all over the place, <A close-up view of a fire ant crawling in the shelter is shown> and <pause> the weather is not cooperating. <A wide view of the Airai tribe's shelter is shown, as rain continues to pour down> I mean, we're talking downpours two or three times a day, which is just awful because everything is always damp. <The camera now focuses in on Eliza, as she folds a pink top and shoves it into her bag> Eliza: This is soaked! <The camera then scrolls back over to an exhausted Ruth Marie> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, I want to stay in the game; <Another close-up view of Ruth Marie is shown> I don't want to quit, but <pause> it's not a good situation… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen now fades out> Malakal Tribe - Day 16 <'Chilling Out' plays, as the camera shows a silhouetted view of the Malakal tribe's island, and then cuts ahead to show their tribe flag. Are we doing rice with beans together, <The camera shows several Malakal members sitting around the fire> or are we doing the fish? <A clip of Aras slicing into a medium-sized fish is shown, as he looks up> Aras: <to Mary> What's in the pot right now? <The camera turns back to Mary again> Mary: <to Aras> Just water. <Aras can now be heard saying something inaudible> I have to boil water first! <laughs> <A clip of Alexis grabbing a bag of beans is shown next> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: Right now, the Favorites have five votes in the Malakal tribe and obviously the Fans only have four, <The camera shows a clip of Kathy cutting up pieces of coconut> so <pause> the more I can hang out with the Favorites and get to know them, the better off I think I'll be with my position. <Aras is now shown turning towards Mary again> Aras: <to Mary> You wanna start putting these fish in there? <Alexis is now shown, as she says "I'll get the fish," and the camera returns to Mary> Mary - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I feel like I'm kindof in this with Alexis. <A close-up view of several pieces of fish frying over the fire is shown> You know, we could decide to stick with the Fans or side with some of the Favorites. <Sherea is shown sitting down by the fire> Sherea: Where's the coconut? Did somebody cut that up? <The camera focuses back in on Kathy, as she continues to chop up coconut. Even watching him in his season, I was just very drawn to him for some reason, <A wide view of the Malakal members eating fish is shown> so I'm still very up in the air as far as alliances… <The camera now focuses back in on Mary> Mary: Mmm, that was a really good one! <Another view of Aras is then shown next> Aras: <to Mary> I caught that one just for you… <laughs> <Mary now says something inaudible, before the camera switches angles to show her and Alexis again> Mary: <talking aloud> Why is he so good? <laughs> <A spooky music begins to play, as the camera abruptly cuts ahead to show a view of the dull morning sun, and then switches angles to show Mary and Aras both climbing into the shelter together. A watchful Ami is now shown standing nearby, as the camera focuses in on her> Ami - CONFESSIONAL: One of my favorite things to do in this game is just to sit back and watch how people interact; <The camera switches angles to show Ian and Joel sitting by the fire> you know, watch the interpersonal dynamics, and <pause> I definitely see Aras and Mary becoming an item… <Another clip of Mary and Aras both lying in the shelter together is shown, before the camera zooms in on Mary> Mary: <to Aras> Wanna get a massage later? <A close-up view of Aras is shown next> Aras: <to Mary> I would love a massage, actually… <Mary is then shown again> Mary: <to Aras> I want one too. <laughs> <The camera abruptly cuts back to Ami and Brooke, who both display tense expressions on their faces> Ami - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> I don't like the idea of her getting so close to him, <The camera now shows Mary massaging Aras' shoulders> especially when it only takes one vote to switch the numbers from the Favorites over to the Fans, <Joel, Kathy, and Alexis are shown talking on the beach> so <long pause> I'm definitely gonna have to nip that in the bud, but it would be really hard to get enough votes against Aras because Mary is really warming up to him now, <A close-up view of a smiling Mary is shown, before the camera scrolls down to her hands, as she massages Aras' back> so <pause> we might have to stick to Joel for this first one… <There is a prominent drumbeat, as the screen abruptly fades out> Airai Tribe - Day 16 <'Arrival' plays, as the camera shows a view of the Airai tribe's treemail bai, as Eliza and Jason can be seen walking up to it. He then hands it to Eliza> Eliza: Life on the island is a balancing act With the other tribe trying to knock you down; Today, the losers stay thirsty and hungry, While the winners are chowing down. Jason: Wow; yeah, so it's another food challenge… <The camera scrolls back over to Eliza> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: We just got some treemail telling us of a Reward Challenge where it sounds like we're gonna have to balance on something <Eliza is now shown back at camp, as she hands the piece of parchment to Terry> and members of the other tribe are gonna be trying to knock us off… <Terry is then shown examining the treemail message> Terry: So it's balance, strength… <The camera shows Jason nodding his head> Jason: I think that the other tribe might be swinging bags. <Tracy is now shown with a thoughtful look on her face, before the camera scrolls across several other Airai members> Eliza - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> At this point, I would definitely have to say that the edge is to the new Malakal tribe. <Jason is shown grabbing the orange challenge flag> They're three members up; <short pause> they've got way more resources, <A wide view of the Airai members is shown, as they walk out of camp> so <pause> if we want to have any chance of winning the next Immunity, we cannot lose today… <The screen abruptly fades out> Malakal Tribe - Day 16 <A close-up view of the Immunity Idol on Malakal's beach is shown, as clouds can be seen rapidly shifting behind it. That is such a good find… <Jason is now shown stacking the wood in the shelter, as he says "We must stock up." The camera then turns to Tracy> Tracy: <to Jason> But don't bring it all out yet because where are we gonna keep it dry? <A close-up view of the pile of firewood in the shelter is now shown next> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: Jason, you know, I love him to death, but <short pause> he's 22 and still a kid in a lot of ways, <Both Jason and Terry are then shown collecting wood from underneath a cave overhang> and I think sometimes, he needs to show a little more in the common sense department. <Mikey is now shown lying by himself in the shelter, as he smashes a fire ant with his fist> Mikey: <talking aloud> Where the [censored] did these ants all come from?! <A comical music begins to play, as the camera shows a close-up view of the pile of firewood again> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> This morning he found dry wood, which is great, <A view of both Jason and Terry carrying firewood is shown again> but <pause> it had fire ants in it, and he just shoved it in our shelter… <There is a prominent sound, as the camera shows the camera shows the six Airai members gathered around the shelter> Jason: These are like genetically modified fire ants… <Mikey is shown examining his arm> Mikey: I got like two or three bites already! <Another view of Tracy is then shown next> Tracy - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> The ants are relentless, and they are the biggest ants I've ever seen in my life. <A clip of Jason taking the firewood out of the shelter is now shown> Tracy: <to Jason> We can't, we can't get rid of them. <Another prominent drumbeat is heard, as the camera shows a view of the stormy sky and lightning flashes above the ocean. A large puddle on Airai's beach is then shown, as rain begins to pour down into it. The six castaways are then shown huddled in their shelter, before the camera zooms in on Mikey> Mikey: Now we're gonna get even more bugs cause of the rain… <Ruth Marie is now shown with huddled with her head resting her knees, as a sympathetic music begins to play> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: Mentally, I'm a lot more prepared for the game this time because I've already gone through the experience before, <A crash of thunder is heard, as rain continues to pour down> but physically, it's a lot tougher on me than I anticipated… <Ruth Marie is now shown scratching her bug-bitten legs> Ruth Marie: Which type of bug is it that makes this? They itch, and they're swollen all over the place, <A close-up view of a fire ant crawling in the shelter is shown> and <pause> the weather is not cooperating. <A wide view of the Airai tribe's shelter is shown, as rain continues to pour down> I mean, we're talking downpours two or three times a day, which is just awful because everything is always damp. <The camera now focuses in on Eliza, as she folds a pink top and shoves it into her bag> Eliza: This is soaked! <The camera then scrolls back over to an exhausted Ruth Marie> Ruth Marie - CONFESSIONAL: <continued> You know, I want to stay in the game; <Another close-up view of Ruth Marie is shown> I don't want to quit, but <pause> it's not a good situation… <A prominent drumbeat is heard, as the screen now fades out> Malakal Tribe - Day 16 <'Chilling Out' plays, as the camera shows a silhouetted view of the Malakal tribe's island, and then cuts ahead to show their tribe flag.
