Don't do tile on the countertops - either use stone or manufactured stone (silestone, zodiac, etc) or concrete or glass. The grout's a PITA and
you'll need something to put on top of it if you're gonna roll out anything.

Technically not DIY, but I'm getting a guy to come and put in a new kitchen floor (stupids had carpet in the kitchen!) new bathroom floor, fix my front
steps, leaky basement, a couple light fixtures and some gutterwork. Reminds me I gotta call him for the estimate!
While he's doing that, I think I'll work on my tan and a good book!! |

Painting every room in this house. The previous idiots painted everything with thick white primer. Walls, light switches, plug covers, ceilings, you name it.
