Although it is interesting they have two young moms on the house (for the first time?) I'm gutted by the lack of male hotness in the house, but I quite like the first task. The wedding on Sunday ought to be classic. The new house is awesome. The new BBBM host is clearly cribbing his style off Russell Brand, but IMO that can only be a good thing. He is leaps ad bound better than any of the hosts they've had since Russell left. But i still miss Russell. ETA: Reading through the posts I am stunned by how many people are attributing the boos Sylvia and Alexandra got to racism. you dont' think it cold be the obnoxious things they said in their videos? i am certainly not racist, in fact I am part black, but they both came off really snobby to me. Sylvia less so - in fact her life story sounds really compelling - but the parts where she gloats about how people are jealous they don't look as good as her is where she went wrong. Stephanie seems somewhat dull to me, and Luke just irritates me. He's one dimensional to me.

I definitely think it is a mix of sexism and Charley hangover. Out of all the videos, the one with the most vile things to say was Dale and he got cheers, so at the very least there is the major sexism (which we all know by looking at the winners of the show) and every single girl who gets on the show in their video says how great they look, unless you are Laura. Stephenie said how great she was, how beautiful she was and only got a bit of boos. Sylvia says one thing about dressing trendy and she gets flat out 95% booed? I dont know what other reason it could be, because her video was one of the best of the females in terms of having something of substance to say.

It's unfortunate for these new people, but I also agree with whoever pointed out that the producers are egging on the comparison. I guess the self-centeredness demonstrated in the intro clips shouldn't annoy me so much - after all, just to go on something like Big Brother you have to have be attention-seeking and conceited on some level, so it's to be expected. The fact that Dale got such a good reaction is just perplexing... and typical. He's not even that attractive to me. They always seem to round up a much hotter cast of women than men. Come on! They've been found out, let them face eviction. It could be a godsend. Make it a vote-to-save fourway and Lisa is sent packing. We're rid of an all too accommodating to her man, boring female and the two black girls are spared being chucked to the curb because of Charley.

The guy host is still ok but these two make Dermot look good. It would have been a better use of their time if they had talked to more of the former housemates. I haven't seen the first Daily Show posted anywhere either. It will probably be on UKNova first though.
