I was just about to ask you something and you almost answered it there. So on the whole "it's a game" vs maintaining your integrity debate you are on the "it's a game" side, right? You can separate Survivor Kathy from Real Life Kathy, and lie and cheat and do whatever it takes to win knowing that it's a game and not you in real life? Could you at some point vote off Chet or Tracy to get ahead and if they voted you off, what would your reaction have been? Could you have remained friends after the game or would you have gone all Ozzy?

It is a shame you didn't get on Vanuatu. Scout was a total waste, you should have replaced her. The thought of you, Twila, Eliza and Ami on the same tribe from the start is pretty sweet. Gotta think a woman would have won.

Another question, why so much Jason hatred? They must have cut something out, because I thought you'd have more hatred for Joel or MickeyB. Is it the crotch seasonings in the food bowl?

Vanuatu would have totally been "It's a game" for me. Do what I need to do to get to the end.

Micro was very different for me. To me it was more about loyalty to the people who were actually nice to me. When you start the game having to deal with a 7 to 3 tribe mentality, it SUCKED. That it wasn't 9 against 1 (me) is something that I will forever be grateful to Chet and Tracy for. So no, I would never have voted for Chet or Tracy, because as you get older, you realize that friendships and honest-to-goodness caring for another human being becomes an overwhelming emotion out there. (You saw it on ASS with Kathy O.) Stuff like that, like being betrayed, tends to stick with you for a long time and we would not have done that to each other.

I realize that people are different and go into Survivor with all kinds of personality traits and morals. If Chet and Tracy would have voted me out, I can guarantee you that it would not have been a blindside. First of all, we would have stuck to a final 3. Then if it were a final 2, we would have had many discussions (like the rational adults that we are) about who would be voted out. I believe we would have come to a decision that we all could have lived with. Of course, editing wouldn't have shown any of that.

As far as Jason goes, I would say that 70% of his asshole-ness was definately left on the cutting room floor. If someone rubs EVERYONE the wrong way, you know you didn't get to see all of it by watching at home. He is one of the most arrogant people I have ever met. And to be so young and be that way is unbelievable to me. His sense of entitlement, ego and his 'supposed knowledge of all things ever done since time began' was so over the top that someone as easy going as James couldn't stand him. And that right there should say a lot. He told Tracy (about the shelter) "You don't know what you're talking about. I've built shelters before. Have you? No. So just shut up and go do something else"

ETA: Also, think for a moment how you would feel about someone, who basically made us 3 make our own shelter because "he didn't want us there" in that rock overhang, to then start taking OUR palm fronds off of the shelter we HAD to build just to keep himself dry. By then, they had made their own shelter with Tracy's help. You know, TAKE YOUR OWN FRICKIN PALM FRONDS JERKWAD!! He was that kind of person.
