Ben wasn't leaving the island forever. He's been coming & going at will for ages so what makes you think the wheel turning changed that?
The fact that he said it did, lol.

Much like the Island making previous vistiors unable to die, Ben will also similarly be unable to return to the Island. Any and all attempts will result in
misfires, distractions, brick walls, etc.
Though I wonder if he can now die. |

alone (ie. without Ben's help), so that makes me wonder if he will indeed get back, regardless of what the status quo has been regarding turning the FDW.

I still think Ben thinks those 2 things were necessary. And i definitely dont believe Ben nor Locke feel bad about Locke's supposed dad dying. Its gotta be more than that. |

Bruh, you only need to post one time. Edit your posts if you can't figure out how to insert multiple quotes into the same post.

Nah, its easier for me to respond to a post as i read. :)
Its easier for you to skip any of my posts that arent addressed to you. ;) One huge, messy post, or four smaller, concise posts...its not that big of a deal. |

I love the "if you don't like it, don't read it" defense. So much.
And i definitely dont believe Ben nor Locke feel bad about Locke's supposed dad dying. Mark this date down, ladies and gentlemen. I actually agree with phantom. It is a rare occurrence indeed. |

Richard seems to be ageless so I can assume he has the ability to come to & go off the island even after it's been moved. I think Ben has the same
ability.
eta: I don't mind phantom's commando posting style (at least it's easy to follow) but I do cringe when someone says if you don't like it - don't read it.

figure out all sorts of interesting things from the past -- especially with Richard as a player in Locke's childhood. I'm thinking that Ben would
apologize because Ben may need Locke (even with FF coffin scene in mind) to get back to the island. Could also be an apology out of respect now that Locke
hears Jacob.
Was totally hit by the same line when i watched it...i even made a post about it earlier in this thread? Thanks, Phantom, and sorry for the oversight. Prolly didn't do my due diligence on former post reading before I jumped in and shot off my big mouth. Glad you heard it too, though! Thanks for your comments on it. I agree. And yeah, about Widmore turning the wheel before. It explains alot of his actions. Which brings me to Charlotte. Is she a little Widmore, but unknown to Charles Widmore? Does she have a connection to him? |

Well, I know I'm late to the party, but I finally just had the chance to watch the finale. So happy to see Desmond and Penelope meet up. It seems I
remember something about them not being able to be together? Was there something in an earlier episode, or am I hallucinating?
I don't like druggie Jack. He needs to pull himself together. And wow!! How did Locke end up in the casket? I know I need to now go and read through this entire thread, but it will take awhile...anyone have any ideas they want to give in a nutshell about Locke in the casket in the meantime? |

Desmond couldn't be with Penny because he had to get to the island to press the button. Of course once his code entering got screwed up by Locke (and what
isn't screwed up by Locke?) and he turned the reset key, well, everything got reset, didn't it? What his ultimate destiny is was not foretold by old
giftshop lady person so Desmond might be free to sail into the sunset with Penny now forever more. I don't think there's even any need for him to
return to the island, except in an alternate lifetime...
