As the judges explained, Antonia's dishes were not liked by the party guests -- no one stood around her table.
That alone should have sent her packing over Lisa. It probably wasn't even as close a decision as they made it look. |

This sucks. I liked Antonia. She has been nothing except for consistent, and has won quite a few quickfires and challenges. I really do wish the rules on this
show would be mended a little bit, and past performance taken into consideration.

The only comfort I take in Lisa making it to the final three is that this increases Richard and Stephanie's chances of winning. While I was never an
Antonia fan, I'm shocked they kept Lisa over her. Along with the Dale elimination, they need to start considering overall performance as well because
someone like Lisa shouldn't have even made it to the finale to begin with.

lol @ Lisa demanding for congratulations at the end. So what are they supposed to do? Congratulate her in front of a sobbing Antonia? Richard is jinxed by the car win and the bronze medal comment. Glad that he and Stephanie made it though since they were among the most qualified contestant. Never knew that Steph and Dale had known each other for ten years. |

Then watching their dishes and the judges' deliberate, I figured Antonia was going home....sure she has been consistent through out the season, but she has also been lucky that she was mostly, if not always, aligned with the "better" chefs in those endless group challenges. I don't think she's a bad cook...I think she is consistent and cooks well, but she lacks creativity, and IMO just not your top chef material. Lisa isn't top chef material either, but as much as I can't stand her, she does seem to be more creative than Antonia, which, at this stage of the game, helps. That said, she won't be Richard nor Stephanie, unless those two have their worse day and Lisa her best day....even then, I'm kinda doubtful.BTW, are they not doing a reunion show this year? there was no mention of it, but how else are they going to hand out the fan favorite? Lastly, anyone else thought that none of the female chefs should be wearing tank tops? what's wrong with a nice light-weight cotton, gauzy shirt?
