There are still tiebreakers for ep.13.
Cirie would be CP neu (not mixed) based on the vote.

Episode 13 Tie-Breaker Amanda Kimmel Vis 3 (46.7%), Vis 4 (53.3%) Amanda had to share the limelight with her 3 witchy sisters, while Eric was eating up the scenery as the only leading man. With Vacation Parv at Vis 2 and Eric at Vis5, the rest fell in the middle. I'd say vis 3 for all three: Nat, Cirie, and Amanda. Cirie squeeked out a Vis 4, so: Amanda CP(M) 3 Parvati Shallow N (53.3%), Neutral (46.7%) This was a clear MOR edit. She said it, a little vacation time for ol' Parv. I know there are those who want to give her Ns for every silly thing that she says, but the only scene that can get that consideration in Ep13 is her sunbathing on EI. And the edit was too ambiguous for me. There was no big pay-off for her decision not to look for the idol. And that has to be there somewhere for it to rate much of an edit tone. I agree that it was a scene that put doubt in her winning. But, at that point, Edgic should be locked into auto-landing mode in the Edgic on-board computers. At Ep13, they were piling on the doubt. Parvati was too aggressive and pissed too many people off, she faded to the rear of the F-4 pack, while the others starred in the Eric boot. Blah-blah-blah. Parvati UTR (neutral)

Uh...CPN was actually the majority for Parvati with 8, while CP/M got 7.

Uh...CPN was actually the majority for Parvati with 8, while CP/M got 7.They count rating and tone votes separately. So, 8 N, 9neu/M (even though 2 of the 9 were paired with a MOR rating). I hate saying that they're right with a neutral majority for Parvati, but, they are right. Ok, now let's get that chart updated. ^_^

Thanks for the update, Warrior. Looks awesome. Just gotta get the final ratings figured out and we'll be all set (and for the record, I think Parvati
should be CPN and Yau Man should just be UTR, didn't make enough of a P impact even in the premiere to make him P for the whole season). It's
interesting to see that out of the final 7, only Parvati had a medium or high visibility premiere episode, which apparently shows how important it is. And out
of the final 4, she was the only one that wasn't either UTR or INV.

Yes, and in the end it didn't matter that New Malakal and the Quitters ate up all that airtime ep.5-8.
I was right that we shouldn't put as much stock in episodes where players don't go to TC. Conversely Alexis was UTR in her tribes 2 early TC episodes, and I knew that was death. Amanda was also UTR in the key YM and Ozzy boot episodes. Number of CP Episodes - look how women dominated! That's quite a break with historical trends. Women CP - Parvati (7), Cirie (8), Amanda (4), Eliza (4), Ami (3), Tracy (3), Natalie (1), Alexis (1) = 31 Men CP - Jonathan (3), Ozzy (2), Erik (1), Jason 1), Joel (1), Fairplay (1) = 9 Is Parv the first female winner with at least 7 CPs?

In terms of close calls:
Yau-Man: UTRP (He was positive in the first episode and slightly sympathetic in the third episode. He's Yau-Man the fan favorite, and no matter how much the editors try, they can't make him not positive because that's just who he is.) Kathy: OTTP (She was given WAY too much of a softened quitter edit to not be P. She was supposed to be kinda funny and likable, and we were supposed to be sorry that she couldn't handle the game anymore.) Parvati: CPN (She may have been toneless before the merge, but all her talk of "stirring the pot" and "the Black Widow Brigade" was NOT meant to be looked at as anything other than negative. The editors just aren't capable of editting a female mastermind that screws over the "heroic" males into much more than a bitch. She screwed over Ozzy AND James, who were loved by the fans, so it was hard for the editors NOT to make Parvati negative. She was EXACTLY like Todd, only with more UTR episodes. Personally, I think every one of the girls in the brigade was at least somewhat N, even Alexis. It sucks that Cirie and Amanda didn't get the Ms they should've gotten, while only Natalie seems to have gotten an accurate rating of N, and she and Parvati were the most N of the group.) |

Best of luck with S17 Edgic.
Remember: Episode 1 is the key. |

Micronesia wasn't a season about Heroes and Villians. The Faves all played hardcore, and none were lazies or meanies hard, so it's hard to paint any as
simply good guys or bad guys.
Rather it was a season about Smart players and Dumb players. Parvati, Amanda, Cirie, Eliza, and Tracy were edited as smart, while Erik, Jason, Ozzy, and Joel were edited as dumb. That's the botton line. |

Parvati was editted as ruthless and willing to cut off her friends to propel herself and the women forward in the game. That's never been portrayed as
positive. Granted, she wasn't editted like bitchy Courtney, but ruthlessness is typically seen as negative. Talking about spinning the guys around and
devouring them is negative. Basically telling hero James that she was going to screw him over as negative. Parvati's edit was MUCH more similar to that
of Richard, Brian, or Todd than it was to someone like Aras or Chris.

I usually don't come in edgic, but I do need to ask how the fuck is Chet an OTTN? Didn't he not have a confessional into after the swap?

I actually voted him as UTRN, because he was so underdeveloped that it didn't even matter how one-note he was. A year from now, if you ask a casual fan
what they remember about Chet from Micronesia, they'd say, "Wasn't he the one who got dragged by that big guy?" That's not an edit at
all, his "edit" was a series of challenge-related references on how much he sucked and how useless he was, without any insight at all from him pretty
much through his entire stay. If that ain't UTRN, I dunno what is.
Then again, I still think Natalie should be OTTN. Because otherwise I'd be voting for both her & Chet as UTRN, and their edits were nothing alike. The first 10 invisible episodes for Natalie were all forgotten once she had her OTTNN5, and that's what the viewers will remember. I guess only a few others saw it that way. Oh yeah, I think I'm ready to be a watchdog again next season. :) Just didn't want to get stuck with James again this time, or one of the other players I hate, like Yau Man or Fairplay or Jonathan (although I don't hate him anymore). |
