MTV is airing a marathon of this cycle and it's the final episode. I think I hate Whitney more than I've hated any winner. And lord knows I hated
Saleisha
 and Nicole

I never thought a winner would be worse than Saleisha, let alone in the FOLLOWING cycle.
Ironically both times theres been controversies to their wins
like with the whole gaining weight thing.
Waching ANTM is starting to become a chore. Aussie'sNTM blows this shit out of the water in both drama and girls who can, you know, model.

That picture is from today's New York Times Sunday Magazine as they did a cover story on Tyra and her growing media empire.
I only watch marathons so I watched much of Cycle 10 today. At best Whitney deserved 5th place and if Marvita hadn't checked out mentally, Whitney should have been sent home the week Marvita got the boot. Anya or Katsanya should have won Cycle 10. |

Mr. Jay and Miss Jay have had conflicts with Tyra as they have already voiced in past seasons. I think it would be really interesting if she (Tyra) would just
keep her mouth shut for once and let the panel decide. I like Nigel also and would love his input more. Paulina is a tough cookie already and I can almost bet
that if Tyra doesn't get off of her high horse, Paulina will disappear just like Twiggy. Tyra, Get off of it girl and let the others make the decisions.
You are too controlling and it's ruining the show! Everytime you say that the panel will decide is a slap in the face to the viewers. You are calling the
shots. Your advise as to squinting your eyes or leaning the body this way will get a better shot is getting old. Old school is just that. Let the kids learn
something new that maybe Tyra didn't think of!

I like Nigel also and would love his input more.Please, no. Nigel is already a control-freak as is. His favorite was won every time. And when he can't make up an excuse to reasonably
justify why he dislikes a contestant, he just says they "luck into their shots" (like Anya.) Err, a model who lucks into her shots resulting
in stunning photos > a model who just takes shitty ones all around. (Hi Whitney!)

More input from Nigel? He practically runs the panel, considering that he and Tyra are nearly in sync with their decisions and favs (at least for the last while). Also, I agree that his reasons for disliking some of the girls are even more nonsensical than Tyra's. |
