Danny wasn't Divo with the judges.

You can be a good dancer, but if you're known for being "difficult," you can ruin your own career without dancing a single step |

and to the people talking about military dude personality, i'm sorry but in past seasons i've enjoyed the good dancing instead of cute or personality
dancing (whatever that is)
and with ppl like lezbo lovers divorcees (you know those two are lezbo lovers) going through to vegas, when they were average, and him not making it, i call BS. and what do i mean with BS? i think that he was asked by the producers to go, they told him he would not make it, and that they wanted him to make a BIG scene out of it! etc etc |

The last two audition shows I've been really feeling like we're getting jipped when they show us the gaggle of Vegas bound dancers and we've
barely seen any of them. Still, Italian granddaughter and highschool musical daughter were pretty impressive. The Toronto guy, Joshuah?, had moments of
greatness but I actually thought the judges were overstating how good he was.
Two most impressive guys I've seen were the guy with the black skull rag doing a ballet/hip hop style and Brandon who was like Danny on steroids. His
audition music alone was kickass and he somehow lived up to it.
Mom-shirt was really good but his hands were very Cedric (shudder). Same with Stripclub DJ. I'm glad Claire made it to Vegas but I doubt she makes top 20. But still the best part of all time was delivered by Cat introducing the dancers who got a ticket after the choreography- "Let's take a look at their happy dances, brought to you by new Snuggle® with FRESH release™!" - cue dancing bear |

I think the wiggly/breaker whose high school principal paid for his plane ticket was the only one. Tyce went first and he was decidedly underwhelmed, saying the kid was "just cool" but Nigel and Mary creamed over him. And really, Nigel and Mary were right, the kid was almost as good *at what he did* as Muraine and Chbeeb. I interpreted Tyce differently. I thought his "just cool" was meant to be a rave review. Oh well. I've never been on the same wavelength as Tyce... |

Tyce is hottt.
Anyhow, no one seemed that great last night. I thought the first girl whose dad didn't want her to come was fugly as hell and dressed so bizarrely. When she first showed up I just assumed she was gonna be one of the bad auditions. Speaking of bad auditions, I LOVED the cute girl in the blue tights who couldn't dance. She was so adorable! If only she could have danced, she would be my favo this season. oh, and And the gay black 18-year old ballet dancer was coolio! Although, |

i rooted for claire unfortunatly she is not as good as she used to be, and whoever cut her hair last needs to be fired because she looks like trailer park
trash.
i really really dislike HSM girl. i think she looks like a spoiled little brat that doesnt have to pay for dance lessons and knows that she can get what she wants because her mom is a choreographer. and she is not pretty to me at all. i like ballroom girl and yeah her sob story didnt settle well but im sure they made her say that too get people to like her. so far i like the gev, the guy with his mom on his shirt, ballroom girl, kherrington, beauty queen, and there was another guy but i forget about all the guys. |

I think they like to keep the homo-ness on the DL, so as not to discourage the tweetard voting base.

She hasn't really done anything (in terms of personality) to warrant dislike, or even much love. She seemed normal enough. I never like it when people dislike others based on random onservations. It's why I don't like Mia as a judge, and the reason why Danny was so unpopular at the start of last year. Besides, HSM girl put Kherington to shame, big time. Let's just wait a little more before we judge her personality (she may be a total bitch, and she may not be). And about the ballroom girl, wasn't she crying? I don't think the producers made her cry. I don't mind sob stories when they are handled well by the contestants. Two examples of that are Jaimie and Hannah Lee (from season 3) I'm still not sure if Jaimie's mom is dead or not, because she would talk about her in the past tense, and I think she is dead (please someone comfirm this), but she never used her mom's death to garner sympathy (I might have liked her a lot more if she was in any way versatile and not overated). Hannah Lee had that whole accident thing and she described it pretty calmly (probably because they asked her), and then she never mentioned it again, and when she hurt her ankle and was subsequently cut, she was sad, but didn't act entitled, or make excuses. |

^ Ack! You ahve meatball's old avvie taht makes me think I have a bug!
Lied about my age guy is officially my pick to win. I love him, loved his dancing, loved that he danced to Summer Overture from Requiem for a Dream, and if I were a gay man I would screw him. |

Glad to know I wasn't the only one a bit disappointed with last night's show. Hip-hop guy with the dead mother is very good, but left me feeling cold.
I can't imagine voting for him.
I loved Brandon, I'd be very surprised if he didn't make it to the top 20. He's also the perfect example of why the lower age limit of the show needs to be 18--aside from the fact that it means contestants don't need parents around or have to take time out of the day for tutoring, it gives contestants more time to develop their skill and their body. I don't think Brandon would have been as impressive then as he was now. Although, He was a very masculine dancer, who cares if he's not so much when he's talking? Anthony, meanwhile, I don't think was robbed. Unlike Brandon, who I didn't want to take my eyes off of, Anthony bored me. I also wouldn't vote for the guy. I'm sure he'll do well for himself in a troupe some day, but he isn't a star and I'm glad they didn't send him through. |

* Anyone know the name of the instrumental piece 'I liked about my age' guy danced to? I love that choir type music that builds to a powerful
crescendo like that song from the Spiderman 3 trailers, Lucius Dei from Immediate Music.
___________
That may be true but the fact is that the judges had a problem w/ his personality and him being all techical, not much emotion and cocky whether the audience agreed or not. They (the judges) also had a problem w/ Anthony's personality and yet they let Danny through to Vegas and eventually on the show and they basically humored Anthony by letting him do the choreo when never intending to let him move on. It just seems unfair. I know some have said that he was cold or whatever but I personally found him to be memorable in his dancing and I liked his movement. |

If I saw Nigel in person I don't think I could resist tying him down and having at that hair with a pair of pinking shears.

I'm afraid DWTS kinda spoiled me or ruined me or whatever.
When I think of female dancers, I think of women who look like Julienne, Edyta and other female pros on DWTS. But watching SYTYCD, I've realized that most female dancers (except ballroom dancers, of course) are kind of stocky... with big thighs. It's not that bad this season, but until last season, watching the show, I always wondered why most girls look so... stocky. And Nigel is the most insufferable, miserable, pathetic human being ever! The way he went on and on and on with that Italian stripper kind of guy about his cockiness was just unbearable. Somebody just kill him and put him out of his misery. |
