So... was the Paulo character originally created just so he could talk to the Porteguese guy on Penny's boat? lol I can image Darleton say something like,
"we need a character that can talk to them..."

I just re-watched it. I noticed that when Ben was talking to Jack, he said, "we have to take him too." He also told Locke that whoever moves the island can never come back....
Come to think of it, Ben told Sayid that he got off the island via. Desmond's boat... What's the deal? I think Ben might be a liar........ |

Jin is dead yo, he wasn't on the island when it transported, so IF he was still alive he'd be in the water wreckage. And lets say, Faraday picked him
up, Faraday would not have been transported with the island either, and i'm fairly certain he's going to be involved in getting the O6 back to the
island. So IF Faraday picked up Jin and took him back to the world, there's no reason why Jin wouldn't have gone straight to Sun. Unless he wanted to
rpreserve Jack's and the O6's lie that no one else survived. But i don't buy that. He's DEAD yo.

For Locke, if he took the place of Ben for the Others, he can do everything Ben did. That includes getting off the island as he will with differents
identities. Hence Jeremy Bentham. Maybe he is the next assignement giving by Ben to Sayid and Sayid made it look like a suicide. Or maybe everything fell
apart on the island and Locke felt responsible, didn't want to go back and killed himself.

Three things that I noticed that haven't been mentioned. (or maybe they are questions?)
On my cable system (comcast) they listed Walt first in the credits....did anyone see Walt? just a mistake? or another Darlton trick? There was a commercial for a Global Resources Consulting Co (which doesn't exist!!!) which had a sneaky little ABC logo in the corner. Something to keep us busy in the summer maybe? I'll check it out later after I watch again. There was a glitch about 40 minutes in in my area where they had the scene with Alpert killing Keamy then cut to commercials then came back and played the same scene, cut to commercial again showed the same commercials plus more! then came back and cut out some of the scene b/w Jack and Locke discussing the island and its miracles. It came in with Locke telling Jack about miracles....Did that happen to anyone else or is my area just messed up? Did I miss anything? Will we ever see Desmond again? My hubby asked if I had the "hots" for him. I couldn't lie! (heavy sigh!) |

Maybe. But wouldn't Jack find out that the body is carrying isn't John.
If John is really dead, then I think we'll see a lot of Locke in season 5 and that will be the end of it. No Locke in season 6. |

Walt went to see Hurley.
I think it's the last we've seen of Desmond. It's a shame cos it's a great caracter. Or maybe he will be sucked in to help (or not) the O6 get back to the island. The phrase "I'm never gonna leave you again" might be a clue or just a red herring. |

Sawyer comes out of the water - What a hot sexy assholeIt was a great moment. No explanation for why his shirt was off, it was clearly just a moment included for Sawyer lovers, and I said to the television: "Thank you !!" I like the symmetry of the end of last season with "NOT Penny's Boat" and the end of this season with "Penny's Boat." I was totally not expecting it and loved it so much! And I love that they hyped the kiss between Kate and Sawyer which was pretty much par for the course, but obviously this was the kiss we've been waiting for. Walt is clearly bigger, and with the fast forwards, he can be the three years older he really is. He wondered why none of the O6 came to visit him, and Hurley didn't have a good answer, but then he wondered why they were all lying and Hurley said it was to protect everyone who was left back there. Walt said "Like my dad?" and Hurley said "Yes." Maybe your cable system had a glitch that left that scene out and repeated the other one? I think Walt has more to do with the story. We have never heard more about his abilities. Wonder if he will get to go back to the island too? It isn't like them to leave major loose ends. (Minor ones, like Eko, maybe, but not major ones). I loved it all. I even loved the frozen donkey wheel. And I love how they tied up things neatly down to why Ben is wearing a parka in the desert and how he injured his arm. I'm a little worried about how Sun is becoming more like her father, but hopefully if she can get together with Jin, it will all be o.k. |
