I believe that Grifted's codex explains a good deal of the history of the Board Wars - When EBT splintered off from Survivor Sucks many members continued to post on the Sucks Forum. They also went off and posted on other public forums. Here's where part of the problem came from. Originally EBT was meant to be a place where you could spoil/speculate/submit your ideas about spoiling the show, without getting blasted by flamers and such. Somewhere in there it turned ugly within EBT. I think about the time or shortly after DarkRivers showed up, but not to blame it all on DR. Many were jealous because the EBT had been formed. Jealous that they didn't get in. The admins of EBT and members decided it would be best to admit only those proven to be spoiling seriously. Anyway, the other boards - seems like a bunch of them now, honestly I don't remember all of them, probably only three or four at the time, were all public, except EBT. Feuding broke out. EBT had a source(s). As Snewser has posted about.

Anyway the different boards were feuding. Sucks came up with the Outback Fantasy Game. Things got all crazy after that. I think around that time, Sucks switched over to the EZ board. Mr. Slip will know more about that stuff. I wasn't, nor have been, involved in the admin duties of the boards. I was just a lowly foot soldier. With the Fantasy game came more drama then anyone ever expected. One day someone, inside EBT that had membership with Sucks, and probably all the other boards too, can't recall whom at this moment in time, decided it would be funny to post on the EZ board, about the game, spoiler, heck, I don't even remember what it was now. But that stirred the feeding frenzy even more and gave us at EBT/ABT an even worst reputation. If that could be possible. See because of DarkRivers we had a what is said here - meaning EBT - stays here rule. We were trying to protect DR at that time. Why, I'm not completely sure. Something about his job, affliations, I don't remember, but I do remember it was a big deal. But outsiders saw that as us covering up that we were really getting all our info about the show from DR and that we weren't doing anything inside EBT in the way of spoiling. Here's where the EBT'ers began to divide into factions. At the same time members were jumping ship to other boards and some were not sticking to the WSHSH rule. There was a lot of hateful things said back and forth. It didn't help that EBT got in USA Today and on the news media either.

So from Planet Sucks to Survivor Sucks to the EBT/ABT and Voted Off and TDT and other boards - the ones I failed to name directly please forgive my failing memory- all are related. Each and all had members from Planet Sucks and those members crossed posted back and forth, if they were allowed - many members got voted off/banned being members on some boards. Others chose not to be members on the other boards. It was a real chaotic time.

There are some here that can do a better break down of which boards sprung up from the original survivor sucks board.

I almost forgot. It all became a game of one upmanship. EBT would post their "predictions" of the boot each week. These 'predictions' would show up on the Sucks board along with predictions from the public boards. Again, I blame the Fantasy Outback Game on most of this feuding that erupted. There were actual prizes that could be won at the end of the game, so that made it more competive. It also contributed to the nastiness between the boards. So when someone blasted into the EBT about where and how we were getting our 'predictions' - the Nova Scotia feed, etc. Members within the EBT would blast back on Sucks. Soon it got to be that nothing a member of the EBT said was believed. It developed the reputation that the EBT members were just snarking on the other boards. Board Wars. It was sorta hard to stay out of the line of fire. If you were one of the EBT members that was trying to spoil on your own, natually you got your feelings hurt. Like any group or team or organization we had a certain loyalty and pride. At least some did. We also had the back stabbers and the muck rackers too. The trouble makers. They kept things stirred up between the various boards.
