Somebody got really cheap and gave the semifinalists only a tiny list to choose from. Stuck with a hopeless song, she did the best she could but it wasn't great and the judges then pretended she had simply picked the wrong song. Alexandrea's REAL main obstacle that week, besides the song "choice," was Amanda's inexplicable survival after a true trainwreck performance (probably because she had been in the bottom 3 the previous week). I'm still trying to figure out how any contestants can be considered screwed by the judges if they went as far (or further) into the competition as they should have. Danny Noriega was voted off because he had two horrible performances in three weeks (Superstar was okay) and was practically secreting estrogen into the camera at all times. Simon's calling Tainted Love "useless" was just telling it like it is.

Her performances were pretty uneven and often unremarkable, but she still had one of the better voices this year and seldom got credit for it from the judges. 2. Carly. Constantly picked the wrong songs or oversang them, so I was glad to see her go. Still, I think the judges often slammed her pretty harshly just because she didn't perform up to their high expectations. 3. Chikeze. The guy is a fairly good R&B balladeer but he got panned every time he showed that side. It might have been corny or even boring, but give him credit for a good vocal if you're also going to tongue-bathe Archie for the same thing every week. Best breaks from the judges: 1. Cook. Even if he was boring or an arrangement didn't really work, the judges would just say "we like you anyway." 2. Brooke. Likewise, even when she was flat or boring, the judges would usually say, "but I like how you showed your personality" or some shit. 3. Archie. I'm not a hater, but the tongue-bathing from the judges got out of control, and may have cost him in the end. But at least Simon occasionally called him out.

Whoever was the survivor of that final six, bottom two, was going to go to the final three. Fortunately for her, she was in the bottom the previous week which got her those ''scared'' votes, and Carly wasn't in the bottom the previous week and got good reviews, which made her fans not give those safety votes.

Let's be clear here....David Cook was NOT TPTB choice to win from the beginning...It was Carly, Brooke, and Archtard....David didn't really catch judges' praise until Hello...or Billie Jean...whichever one came first....then Eleanor Rigby came along and cemented the judges' favor. Secondly, yes Syesha made it a damn far way in the competition, but it had nothing to do with help from the judges. She was constantly given the shaft from the judges, and somehow scratched and clawed her way through to the top 3. She sang Tobacco Road very well and had sever consistently good, not great performances that the judges ripped her apart for. Songs like IWALY and Vanishing were both good, but the judges ripped her on them. Finally, One Rock and Roll saved her ass and carried her through...that one performance was probably enough to get her through to the top 3. Syesha was very screwed over by the judges and climbed her way to the top 3 much like Ms. Locke before her.

He said that he would listen to Syesha and then hear the judges comments and be like what the heck...? Do these people have ears. David Cook said something similar about Syesha having this amazing voice. The girl was screwed and let's not even get into when Syesha had the brilliant performance in Final 4, and Randy didn't give her credit for it.
