Up there with Borneo as either the best or second season ever in my eyes. So many great moments that season...
-The revelation of Stephenie's real personality -Judd's non-stop lying -SCUMBAGS!!!!! -Jamie vs. Bobby Jon -The 11 mile hike to start the show -Cindy, favorite Survivor ever :) -Judd versus. Margaret -Rafe's dunking -Yaxha finishing the entire challenge before Jamie cuts the rope -Stephenie calling BJ gay and retarded -Lydia's pancake -The curse of the eaten chicken -"Golden Boy!!!!!" -Ultra hot Brianna :P -Jamie going insane -Gary's fake identity blowing up in his face by the second episode thanks to Danni -The original HII, before they wrecked it by making it too powerful in the next season -Danni kicking Stephenie's ass in the final challenge, allowing us to all see StepheME crying like a baby And so on.

Bobby Jon was so much more colorful in Guatemala too <3
Having a seizure after the hike <3 Getting OFFENDED by Margaret's bossiness <3 Coming out of the closet as a homosexual and as a mentally challenged individual at the same challenge <3 Showmancing Jamie <3 Feeding himself to fish <3 Begging Steph to "let" him make the jury, then repaying her kindness by voting for Danni <3 Getting voted out when he was only like the 3rd target of the Axis of Evil that week <3

Guatemala had by far the most forgettable cast members ever (I honestly couldn't name the first 5 boots of that season), but the rest of the season was
pretty awesome. StepheMe turns evil after being the most popular woman ever, Bobby Jon comes back and makes the merge, providing many laffo moments with Jamie.
Jamie being an arrogant turd (and the first OTT reaction to being voted out), Judd being COMPLETELY FUCKING AWESOME the entire season. I think
"Scumbags" is still the best getting voted out reaction ever. The ONLY thing that sucked about the season was how boring the F5 was and Danni winning
after StepheMe owned the season up to that point.

Good lord, just watching those clips reminds me of how much I hated Judd. And looks like I still do.

I really loved Guatemala. This was an instance where a tribe swap ended up saving a season. It had so many over the top characters (Gary, Judd, StepheME!,
Jamie, BJ), it had Lydia who proved for anybody really watching that social game was everything and that's why Danni won. Fantastic because it really was
rough out there. They were starving and production had to clue them in by using nuts in the eat or compete challenge. Gary using the idol, his call out of
Judd, StepheME being StepheME, it was greatness. Not to mention this piss-handshake alliance and Brian's failed 3-2-1 bid which Cirie successfully pulled
off just one season later.

Guatemala was the beginning of the end for me....with full attention only coming back halfway through China...
That being said, I've watched it again objectively and it ain't half bad. |
