Archuleta HATE may not be rewarding, but the warm and fuzzy feeling I got about his losing after the utterly undeserved tongue bathing he got from the judges
all season will last a long time. I had already predicted he would finish second based on the simple observed fact that virtually NO supporters of Syesha,
Jason, etc. were switching to him when their favorites were voted off. His fanbase was just too narrow, and Tweentards are NOT a majority of the voters, even
after 4 streight hours of using the autodialer phones their Daddies bought them for their 12th birthday.
Incidentally, they probably published the vote totals (44% is only a little better than Justin Guarini got!) just to get back at Jeff Archuleta, so he wouldn't be able to say his son ALMOST won. Or maybe because they realized the Archretards were quickly becoming the new Claymates. Either way, it was a nice touch. |
