Alex and Izzie - I hope they keep em together because I can't stand Izzie otherwise. This was a weird finale. I don't know if I liked it. I wanted to
know more about Alex but it was weird to just have him blurt his history out.

I agree. They spent waaaay too much time on the patient stuff and then just rushed together all the main characters storyline endings up in 5 minutes at the
end. It felt too rushed.

That Alex scene is soooo fucking HAWT. Worst scene ever. Heterosexual men don't beg women for sex. Pathetic. Ruined what was otherwise a nice finale. I'm glad Grey's decided to go happy for once with no sappy cliffhanger. On the other hand, Alex's character is now freed up from the albatross that was Ava. I thought it was a nice touch that Meredith didn't get many recommendations. Who the fuck were the 10 people that recommended Izzy after she killed Denny and cut his wire thingie? |

I thought it was telling of how Alex's true character is: pathetic. Ok, I can accept that. He's been a pretty pathetic character ever since he hooked up with Ava. I don't know if they know what to do with him. |

Overall, I really liked this episode, but I have some complaints:
Too much happy, happy at the end. Where's the angst for next season? I don't want a whole will Der/Mer make a good couple? George and Lexie - They're really good friends. Don't fuck it up and have George sleep with yet another girl. I hate when shows feel they need everyone to hook up. Alex and Izzy - Love them together, don't get me wrong. I just didn't like the whole "just one night" thing with Alex, and then Izzy giving in. How did that work out last time with Alex and then George, Iz? I wasn't mad that the last test patient survived, but it was all a little cliche. One patient left before they shut them down, and of course she survives. Loved: Hahn and Callie George getting to take the test again (he's right about everyone else getting second chances) Izzy not being completely annoying Yang back to herself. I like how she taught Lexie, but had her ipod on. Very Christina-like. |

I'm okay with the MerDer ending, IF Shonda keeps her word and lets them be happy together. I actually got to liking Meredith and her growth this season.
She was a lot more likable, though I was a little nervous with the whole blaming the Chief AGAIN. Otherwise, I liked it.

Great Finale.
Now can Meredith and Derrick just live happily ever after for god fuckin' sakes now? I mean they have broken up and gotten back together so many times now I've lost count. I'm over it. But overall IF they do stay together I think I can tolerate them. Meredith got ALOT and I mean ALOT more likable these past couple episodes. Loved the Alex/Izzie pairing. I have been missing them together since way back when the series was still new. Also loved seeing Cristina give a big FUCK YOU to that bitch Hahn and showing her how capable she is in the OR. Its weird I liked the finale but I'm not really dying to see what happens next. Eh maybe in a few months. |

Loved Sloane helping Callie realize she does care about Erica. I thought they were going to turn Callie into a bitch who ignores Hahn. I don't particularly love Hahn or anything but that would have been retarded if Callie just started ignoring her b/c she was afraid of her feelings or whatever. |

Or Bailey's husband would be rolled into the hospital with a critical injury while Bailey was closing the clinic. Or Bailey's husband was fooling around with Adell...or some random cliffhanger to happen, but there wasn't one. I actually like that there wasn't. |

That was seriously a pretty fantastic two hours of TV. I was hoping that Hahn was going to pull away from Callie at the end tho and be like, "Dude, what
are you doing? I'm not gay." I thought that would have been funny.
